Arrived late for Sunday brunch and the restaurant was packed. Service was a little slow, but so worth the wait. We ordered... omelets and different options. My Bride ordered toast and home fries and I ordered grits and a biscuit. Very good food. Veryfriendly and efficient staff. Read more

What a great find. The seafood weas local and fresh. With it being a time where tourists abound, we didn't have to wait for a... table. The food was so good! It was so good, in fact, that my kids wanted to go back another night. We just may find ourselvesback there for dinner the next time we are out that way. Read more

Very weird experience at this restaurant. Let?s start with some negatives, leave the good for last... Absolutely no one that... was working smiled the ENTIRE time, it was honestly so strange. No one was mean, but they definitely were not a friendly bunch.Service was pretty slow, never asked for any refills or if we needed anything. Really only had a server for when we ordered thedrinks and food. They also do not have a kids menu, or at least that?s what the server said, so I had to order a whole meal formy 4yo son (which was a waste.) Now for the good, the patio is dog friendly! This was the main reason why we came to thisrestaurant for breakfast. The pricing was reasonable and food was decent. Read more

Well, a friend recommended this restaurant if we were ever in Edisto Beach. After a long day at the beach we were eager to try... the food. My husband was sitting outside but I was really hot. I opened the door to sit inside. A young man almost knocked medown asking what did I want. I replied a table inside so that I would be cooler. He looked at me as if I was there to rob orkill him. Not a welcoming environment. Didn't get to taste the food. If you can't start with where would you like to be seatedthen I am definitely not going to eat there. Horrible experience to a wonderful day. Maybe the next time when they have someonethat doesn't look like their normal clientele, they will treat them with basic service and hopefully, southern hospitality. Read more

Excellent breakfast. The server was working hard, but wasn't very friendly. He wasn't rude, just not friendly. However, it... was a nice experience. Restaurant was very cozy. Read more

SeaCow, to my knowledge, is the only restaurant open for breakfast on Monday and Tuesday on Edisto Island. So by default, this... is where we went. The service was smooth for the most part and the waitress was patient. The coffee was from their distributor. My dad located the box in view from our table. It was weak and tasted of paper. I ordered the John's Omelet because my thoughtprocess was the biggest bang for my buck. If I had ordered an omelet with more than one meat and one other topping, it wouldhave been close to the same price as the John's Omelet. I have SUPER high expectations for a breakfast joint and I tried my bestto set those aside considering the situation. The omelet was edible even though the shrimp and all the other ingredients wereover cooked. I was thankful they chose mozzarella for the cheese. It goes better with the ingredients in the omelet. The homefries had to be canned or just horribly cooked. They were super salty and mush. The biscuit looked frozen (I gave it to my momwho isn't super picky). And my dad's toast was barely toasted. Now the positive! The french toast was the star of the show. Iwould go back just for the french toast. They used sliced baguette bread and lightly dip it in a egg wash on one side. I'm notsaying it was amazing. I am saying it is better french toast on average and definitely the best thing at the restaurant. Itwasn't super sweet and it was a little salty. If you are like my parents though, you will drown it in processed syrup anyway. Itdid have powdered sugar on top as well. I didn't bother taking a picture of the french toast because a previous review providedan accurate picture. Read more
