So I've been a big fan of platters for a long time, for those who are unfamiliar it's basically a base of rice with a side... salad, few pieces of pitas bread and a protein such as gyro lamb/beef and chicken. I'm so confused. Is the review rating carrying over from the previous Pizza place (which was my fav)? I have stopped in at... least 8 times... I live really close and I keep hoping that it improves. I have not had any menu/meal items. My goal each timewas pizza/pizza slices. At lease 5 of the times I stepped in the door, I exited without ordering, because I specifically stoppedin for pizza slices and there were only 2 cheese pizzas and 1 pepperoni. 3 of the times, they had NO by the slice pizzasavailable (On a Sunday at 12:30 in the afternoon). Living in the Edison area my entire life, we have lacked Halal Pizza spots. Finally we have been blessed and have Douglass... Pizza in Edison! First time I went it was great seeing a familiar face running the restaurant. Ive known him from the Somersetlocation and he always makes sure I get the best food and leave satisfied with my meal. So many great items to choose from heresuch as cheesesteaks, many different pizza options, and finger licking good buffalo wings. I went to the Pizza location thatwas here before and Douglass is a big upgrade over that. We are really lucky to have Douglass Pizza so close to us and now canget amazing halal food without driving all the way to Brunswick area. Read more
