Reviews for Deserio's Trattoria in Edison, NJ
Today I called to get a wrap breakfast sandwich and the lady on the phone was very rude as she told me the price. I asked her if... she can only give me the sandwich not the patter being $9.80 and she told me "This is the new price, we a are under newmanagement" I said I will call back. I called back few min later and they would not pick up my calls and started to hung up thephone on me. this is very unfortunate and not ethical. Read more
First time I came to this place for lunch was yesterday, they have so much variety, from a bunch of different pizza slices,... pasta, calzones, stromboli etc... I've only tried the slices and their bread twist (not really sure what they're called) but thefood was excellent, but what really got me was the fact the staff goes above and beyond being nice, when the man who rung me uptook my card, he called me by my name which is something that really doesn't happen often but it was nice. The next time I camein as soon as I went to go get a slice the pizza cook asked my by name what I wanted to get today. It was just an overall greatexperience, just wish I was in the area more often to get lunch from here. Read more

I have eaten Pizza in 40 States and 10 countries and as far as I'm concerned, the best pizza in America is the Grandma's Cheese... pizza here at Desarios! Someone suggested that I try it and boy am I glad I did... It is amazing! Sure they have all thestandard round pizzas on display, but the real winner here is the square Grandma's Pizza. It turns out that pizzerias in theNew York area have a competition for the Grandma Pizza which originated on Long island New York. Check out Grandma Pizza onWikipedia for the history. Similar to a Sicilian pie, the Grandma pizza here has the perfect blend of garlic, sauce, cheese, andan incredible tasting dough. I have now had six pies and I get one each time I drive up from Nashville! My first time Iordered the standard round cheese pizza and also one slice of Grandma's Pizza. While the standard cheese slice was good, theGrandma's Pizza slice was out of this world spectacular! Five stars! Read more
Great place for lunch in Raritan Center. They've been there for a long time. The prices are reasonable and the selection is... great. Lunch time is obviously very busy due to the lack of options in the center and the food quality. Service is awesome.Love the cashier! She pulls no punches and tells it like it is. Also, she is very polite and helpful. Read more
Good sized portions and tasty food. Service was quick and dining area was clean and had plenty of tables.
I tried Deserio's on 2 occasions while visiting Edison on business and I very much enjoyed it both times. Between both visits, I... tried their cheese tortellini and stuffed rigatoni with alfredo sauce, the stromboli and a veal parmigiana sandwich. The pastasare what you would expect from a lunch spot - not mind blowing, but pretty good and very good value for the amount they giveyou. They were among the better lunch pastas I've had for sure.
