Decided to get dinner here with my wife, as we love the food from Taco Palenque, but it was a decision we would come to regret.... It took over an hour and a half before we got our food. We had to keep going up to workers and asking them about our food, butthe manager and the cooks at the back with him just kept taking to each other and kept making excuses about why the order wasn'tready, like they forgot to start work on our order, that they accidentally gave the order to someone else, and that the ran outof what we wanted so they had to go and get the ingredients. While waiting there, they started to just glare at us like we werea pest to them, and be rude and disrespectful, every time we asked about our food. After finally getting our food, after wait anhour and a half, one of our orders was burnt, our order of the 6 street tacos of al pastor, instead of being it's normal redcolor, it was the color of charcoal and was inedible. Also my wife ended up getting sick in the stomach after eating her orderof a pirata taco. Not sure how the sanitation is in the kitchen, but if it is anything like their service, then itterrible. Their salsa bar has so many options! They have basic staples like various salsas and cilantro and onions. But the also have... raddishes, pickled red onions, shredded cabbage, cucumber. It's included with your meal at no additional cost and you can makea full blown salad with everything the have! Read more
Prices were good for the amount of food. Restrooms were clean. Service was great. Waiting time was 0 minutes 15 minutes before... lunch time.???? Read more
I?m am reaching out on behalf of myself and my mother. After a terrible service we had she additionally informed me of a rude... and disrespectful incident she had with not only your staff but manager at this location. I ordered dinner for myself first, itwas while for anyone to help me at the register. It took the individual cleaning the dining area to stop what they were doing toask if I had been helped then went to the back to call someone to help me after the staff behind the counter had seen mestanding there. The order did take a bit long considering I had to wait to even have anyone take my order to begin with but Iwas also the only person waiting. After leaving I went back to pick up an order for my father maybe an hour later. This time Iwent through the drive thru and we were the first ones at that time no one before us. After placing our order and asked to moveto the window, we were quick to be charged but then quickly ignored soon after. We watched as our order was made placed in thebag and left there ignored for about 5 mins before being pushed forward to the next table where drive thru orders are given. The gentleman on headset could see the order and choose to ignore it along with any other worker in the area. This samegentleman began having conversations with other co workers and taking the following order in between ignoring us at the window.It was at this point I asked my mom to take me up front so I could get the order. She refused only to explain she had done thatbefore to speak to the manager about the issue and the managers response was to not only laugh at my mom for even bringing upthis issue but then as my mom proceeded to leave out the door he then did a ?grito? and had the staff laughing at her. We are big Taco P fans.. the nachos are good and the fajita plate too. Food is pretty on point whenever we come and staff is... friendly. I love being able to pick all my condiments and extra chips when eating in. I do drive-thru a lot and usually theyforget my extra chips, jalapeños and pico, which is sad. Now, I always check. I?m not surprised to read another review here had the same issue I experienced at this location today. The female cashier with... tattoos was extremely rude. There is a sign on the door asking for customers to wear masks and this employee was very rudetelling me how she couldn?t hear/understand what I was saying when I was placing my order. Also, she got the order wrong and hasto call someone to reverse the charge. I ordered fish tacos and it is supposed to come with sauce, and well here?s a picture ofthe so-called sauce they put in the taco. Was supposed to go out with my girlfriend and mama, but my girlfriend got busy and my mama was tired after getting off work. So... I decided to come here. It's been a long time since I've been to Taco Palenque. So it it was good good substitute. A nice littlesolo lunch. In the midst of the coronavirus it's nice to know that some of my favorite spots to eat are still open. Socialdistancing is practiced here for dining in. So no need to worry about that. Read more
GREAT VALUE for the QUANTITY and QUALITY of food they served. The sauce island was WELL STOCKED and had a PHENOMENAL VARIETY of... condiments to further enhance the experience. The atmosphere was buzzing with POSITIVE ENERGY and PROFESSIONAL. I now see whyit's called the taco PALENQUE!!! Read more
