Love this place! Food has a slight twist to traditional Mexican food, but it's pretty darn close to the real deal and doesn't... include enchiladas with *yellow* cheese. Variety is a little lacking since several dishes are variations on enchiladas, butyou'll get a good portion with sides (their fries are ????????), and spicy frijoles a la charra. Only problem I have is that the staff is super lazy I run for favor and they claim to do curbside but always ask me if I could... go inside to pay and get the order because they don't want to do their job and assist curbside. This is the only restaurant whocomplains like this to me. Why offer curbside if your going to be lazy and complain to the customer to get down. Sounprofessional if I don't ask my customer for favor to come down apt stairs to my car for their order just so I don't have towalk up. For today's review (don't you all... get spoiled thinking I'm doing this every day..lol)I will be reviewing Antojitos Mexicanos Edinburg. This location open whereChipotle was. I started my meal with their charro beans. They make them totally different from what I'm use to. Before thepandemic, we would very frequently visit the Tenton Location and the beans where a hit or miss. This time, they where a hit.Just a little salt and they where pleasantly good. We also order a papa sincilla. I've always asked that they warm it way up.One thing I've never liked is semi hot potato that can't melt all the cheese. Papa was nice and hot and my wife preps itperfectly. On to our main course. We spilt the Plato Surtido. It's consists of 2 flautas, 2 tostada, 2 blanditos and 2 taquitosde queso blanco and papitas and chili dorado. Over all our meal fed both my wife and I well without over eating. #20, the quesadilla thing con pollo, had the blandest chicken/pollo I have ever had. Dirt actually has more flavor.
