River House doesn?t disappoint. We?ve been here several times and the food is delicious, consistent, and reasonable priced. ... This time we ordered yang chow fried rice, chicken curry, mango chicken, beef with Chinese broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. All very good plus a view of the city and beside the Hudson River. For this visit I really liked the yang chow and sweet andsour pork. Our bill was about $100 for a group of 4, plus tip. Service is friendly and quick. Read more

Great food - awesome view! Lunch price is very reasonable. BBQ pork and General Tso are must try! The hot and sour is also... great! The host - waiter are very friendly! Pork belly/sliced duck bao???? crispy jumbo shrimp with honey walnut general TSO sauce, general TSO chicken, both with rice,... dessert, made on site, spumoni Bomba, we go once a year on our was through and have never been disappointed. Had the lunch special here which was quite expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Thought I would give it... a try hoping the quality would be higher considering the cost. I ordered the beef lo mein lunch special but was told fried ricedoesn't come with the meal unlike other places. Was disappointed when I opened up my meal and got a small sized portion of lomein, half an egg roll, and old goey rice for $13.82. A regular order of beef lo mein here costs $12 w/o tax so I don't see howthis is a special. Not to mention my white rice had brown goey parts in it indicating it was sitting around for a long time. Iwould say save your money and go to China King where the same meal but a larger portion is $6 or Duck King where the food ishigher quality and also cheaper. Not coming back here again. Read more
