This restaurant is small but cute. We sat outside on the wooden porch. It has about six tables. It overlooks the water. They... have umbrellas for the tables. There are also bug lanterns that light. Our waitress was very friendly and informative. Weordered oysters in every form that they came in. All were superb. We also had the fried oyster spinach salad. Very tasty andgreat tasting vinaigrette dressing. We thoroughly enjoyed the company sitting on the porch. There was a couple therecelebrating their 40th anniversary. It was a fun conversation. We did have drinks and they have a very comprehensive drink menu.We didn't have dessert because we had bought some treats at the local bakery in town. The restaurant is loud, we were seated in the bar area in the back. Could barely hear our conversation . They were one waitress... short in the back bar so I give the waitress grace. She was very busy but she did her job well considering how busy shewas. They do have a nice selection of house wines by the glass. The shrimp was good . The breading was crunchy and the shrimpwas nice and plump. Nice taste. Slaw was bland. Good, but not excellent hush puppies. After out seafood was served, we had toask for cocktail or tater sauce. That should have been a given When serving seafood. Fried greens were good but could havecooked a little Longer. Over all a 3 for average will not go back. Read more
Their food was amazing! Loved the view of the water and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the Key Lime Colada if you like... creamy drinks! They have a variety of different oyster dishes to choose from. I tried the Saffron Oysters with bread crumbs ontop and they were delicious. For dinner I had their Scallops and it was amazing! A hidden little gym.... This place has fresh seafood that was delicious. Reservations are needed to make sure you get a seat. ... We ordered appetizers and dinner, soup as our side with dinner. We were so into the food that I forgot to take pictures of thedinner plates.... Beyond the food, the view was spectacular over the water. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Read more

This is our third time visiting the Edenton Oyster Bar and each meal ha been outstanding! The food is well cooked & the service... has been great. Each time we visit we have both said we would order whatever we ate again. Five stars! Read more
Excellent food, best meal I've had since moving to NC from Chicago. Chesapeake oysters were fresh and delicious. Gulf steamed... shrimp were the best I've ever had. Gorgeous ribeye cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Read more
My husband and I were visiting family and decided to go here for dinner. Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the... dessert. I asked the waitress if they could make me a watermelon martini, it wasn't on the menu, but they made it happen. It wasdelicious! I highly recommend this restaurant.
