Solid food and service make this place a great spot to take friends or grab a quiet lunch. Coming recommend to my wife, JINYA... was a ramen bar we knew we needed to experience. We went during lunch, so it was quiet and we got a table right away. The placeis dim, warm and welcoming with Japanese-inspired decor and wooden tables accenting the bar that runs along the edge of therestaurant. The appetizers range from $6-$12, BAO buns run about $7 each. You can xpect to pay north of $15 for any bowl oframen. Prices aren't too bad and the quality was on par. The BAO buns were delicious and balanced well with creamy sauces andfresh veggies. The corn and jalapeno appetizer was unique, but didn't have much flavor. I'll be honest, as a man who has a"ramen cabinet" at my house, I take my ramen seriously and this place's ramen is decent. I've had much better elsewhere, butlet's break it down. I got the premium tonkatsu red with chashu and all the typical fixings. The broth was lacking and didn'ttaste premium, but the chashu was outstanding. The noodles tasted like they get them pre-made and just warm them up and put themin the broth. Don't get me wrong; it was decent tasting, but I was expecting more for $18. My wife got the black tonkatsu andmuch better broth, but nothing that couldn't be achieved by different instant noodles I've had. Now let's talk sauces on thetable. The hot sauce was a good chili sauce and the gyoza smelled a bit sweet but I didn't try it. BUT, the seasoning sauce hasmy heart! We could both literally drank it and because of it's umami flavor it really lifted the ramen broths to a new level!Definitely try it! The staff is great, friendly and our waiter (can't remember his name!) even helped me figure out what was inthe seasoning sauce I liked. This place is clean, has fresh and tasty food and does it pretty well. Might not be my favoriteramen bar ever, but definitely a legit place! Read more

I came in at bout 4:20 alone, and I waited an hour for my food. Ridiculous! I used to like this place and rated it highly, but... if that's what the service is going to be, I have plenty of other choices. You failed me Jinya Ramen. Read more

Beautiful scenario, ample parking, and fun drinks. Would be a great date spot. Jinya is located in the corner of the ralphs... shopping center next to Pita Street. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Normally like ramen but not broth but the soup herehas a great depth of flavor. Read more

Not sure why this place has no reviews, it's been open a year! Popular ramen franchise across the country, I've had them in... several Texas locations and now CA which I believe is the home location. They are consistent in quality and flavor acrosslocations. They are Very friendly to vegans, with their broth even being vegan where many vegetable ramen may still use beefbone broth. They also carry a delightful gluten free noodle option, and an entire gluten free ramen bowl; although note there isrisk of cross contamination as they don't prevent contact with gluten containing items or surfaces. I have celiacs and had noissues but it's an eat at your own risk affair. Still happy to have a gluten free ramen option. They have a delicious guavacider from Ace on tap too! Read more
