Went there about a week ago. Was just driving through on 78 to Pittsburgh PA from Jersey & really wanted authentic Mexican food... so searched up a few places & chose here. Super nice staff. The lady was teaching everyone to eat the birria tacos properly (sipthe soup don?t dip the taco apparently -but I did both) Was told the food was all homemade & it definitely looked like it! -Ithink they may have been using partially homemade tortilla chips & partially like store bought ones because they were so busy,so don?t get mad at me if you get both, but they were both good so no complaints here! My girlfriend and I just ordered takeout for dinner and it was awesome. The order was executed flawlessly. Food was made and... packaged with care. First time having birria tacos and they were delicious. Would definitely get them again. Empanada was good and the rice and... beans were OK. I also ordered churros and I wish they were cooked a little but more. They were a little on the blonde side andnot as crisp and golden brown. Read more
I loved it so much! Staff was super friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! The restaurants energy is really comfy and it makes you... feel like you?re eating a home cooked meal! Def coming back! One of the best Mexican places I?ve been too. The food was fantastic. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. Flavorful but... not overwhelmingly seasoned. The best part of meal was the owner. She absolutely loved what she was doing. You could hear thepassion and the dedication in her voice. She was truly proud of what she was doing. The decor was very simple but fun. Thecolors were vibrant and tasteful. Ambiance works for any occasion, from couples on a date to family enjoying dinner together, ora single just wanting some delicious food. We went during the COVID times of 2020 (for future readers), so masks were requiredbut obviously take off when eating. Limited seating indoors and outdoors so reservations are highly recommended but notrequired. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
