Delicious seafood and attentive, personal service by a husband and wife team. All the dressings and sides are made in house. ... Top notch collards and long cut coleslaw with a hint of sweetness and tang. Wide seafood options and alcohol. High ceilings. Clean interior and restrooms. USB outlets at some of the tables on the perimeter. Highly recommended Read more

Had the crab pretzel delicious. Cream of crab soup. The cream 'split' so was not at all creamy. Too high heat is my guess. ... Pricey also. One waitress for inside and outside. She did an admirable job. For the prices they should be able to pay staff aliving wage. Not sure about going back. Read more

Pleasant dinner, not very busy on a Wednesday evening, there was no wait for a table. The food was good; there were some... specials already sold out for the day, but that didn't bother us as a limited supply of ingredients suggests that everything isbeing ordered in small quantities to maximize freshness. Our pimento cheese appetizer was very flavorful and a nice cheese heavyconsistency. Saved a little for the tot side dish, they are a good pairing. The chips were still warm when they came out, andwell seasoned. Read more

TWEEKS ROAD TRIP FOOD REVIEW!! So when I go to the coast (where I grew up), I've got to have seafood. Me and my two sons pigged... out here. They got the blackened salmon BLT, and fish and tots.. and I had the fish sandwich. But I wanted to sample more, so Ialso ordered us all the calamari + the seared buffalo salmon bites with spicy Sriacha ginger honey sauce + one crabcake and thecream crab soup. All the food was surprisingly yummy. The calamari was well done, tender and not overdone, but not thatsurprising, except for the Sriacha/ginger/honey dipping sauce. That rocked! The crab cake was overpriced at $24, but was reallygood. Not your typical over breaded old bay puck.. it was super chunky, chocked full of meat instead of mostly breading. Theyforgot to bring out the cream of crab soup I also wanted to sample, but they were rather busy, so I'll let that slide. My sonsaid his salmon BLT was amazing.. and he's now a big seafood fan. My other son's fish and tots were huge chunks of cod werereally good... But too much for him to eat. My fish sandwich (also beer battered cod) was one of the best I've ever had (and Igrew up on the coast). The fish breading was a little heavy, but the combination of sweet Hawaiian butter grilled buns, red slawand spicy Sriacha aoli sauce was a perfect match. The flavors were awesome together! I normally slather a fish sandwich intartar sauce and malt vinegar... But not this one.. I didn't want to change the flavor at all. I think I maybe drizzled a touchof lemon on it.. but it was the star of the night. NOM! Glad we found this place. (See photos of each item we ordered.. exceptthe soup ;) Read more

I wanted to like it - the reviews were really good.... I saw catfish and knew this was my kind of place but after the food came... out, I was surprised. The staff was ok. The parking was plentiful (as they share space with Harris Teeter and a few otherestablishments. I ordered to go (catfish platter and kids shrimp). I ordered hush puppies and greens. Kids shrimp came withtots. Price was about $26 total. The food was, well - not good....but the staff was decent so I won'y say horrid experience butI won't return. The shrimp when crunchy like that make me think of bagged frozen shrimp. The fish smelled weird and the batterwas too much of something - couldn't eat it. The tots were warm and choppy - not cooked well and had the seasoning too - maybeold bay ? it was red and sprinkled but I did not like it - could not eat. I ate the shrimp - thats all - wasted my money!!! Read more
