Super down home East coast type place. Amazing friendly staff. More fun when the tourists are gone. Best greasy food in the... area. Tried taking photo of the food but it didn't last long enough, lol. Dangerously tasty. Read more

Always enjoy going here and getting the hot hamburger platter. Food is good and prices are reasonable. The only thing I find the... desserts a bit on the high side price wise but are very delicious. Read more

Worst fish and chips I've ever had fish was completely overcooked and batter was disgusting and hard as a rock. Son only ate... half of his hamburger and took a bite of it and the hamburger was very dry. Definitely will not be buying food from here again. Read more

This is the place to visit when wanting to eat some tasty fish and chips. The fish has a nice batter and the inside is flaky. The... chips are hand cut and fried perfectly. The tartar sauce is packaged. This visit was my third time here. All three visits myfish and chips were excellent. I'm looking forward to my fourth visit here. Read more

What's the Scoop is a delicious place to go for fish and chips and may very well have the very best fish and chips in the city... (yes - better than John's Lunch)! The fish has a crisp, greasy coating and are huge! The fish tastes super fresh and isincredibly flavourful. Fries are plentiful as well. I gave Whats the Scoop 4 stars instead of 5 because they did not havehomemade/housemade tartar sauce. The fish is so delicious, having it with Kraft tartar sauce does it a dis-service. Read more
