Tasty decision to stop for a sandwich here after wandering the boardwalk for an hour or so. The chicken and waffles sandwich was... delicious and satisfying without being greasy or heavy as some waffles can be at other places. The savoury waffle is baked, notfried in oil and the pulled chicken is smokey and moist. The waffles holds together pretty well for the time it takes to eat thesandwich but you will need to lick your fingers after - the sign of a good sandwich! Even the coleslaw and pickle on the sidewere tastier than expected for a tiny tourist spot. 10/10, would return to try other menu items the next time I'm at Fisherman'sCove. Read more
Great little spot service was quick and lovely. We had the vegetarian burger, the pulled pork sandwich and the grilled cheese.... All absolutely spot on, delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. We will return. Read more
Don't be the only person in Nova Scotia to not try their chicken and waffle sandwich! The meatballs paired with the sliced... pineapple are pretty tasty too. Fairly priced; a lot of grub for your buck. Friendly staff and fantastic location. Menu varietymakes it standout from the shoals of beer battered fish in the area. Highly recommend you check it out. All I have to say is that I actually had dreams about the chicken and waffle sandwich - three nights in a row after eating it.... Either that says something terrible about my psyche, or this restaurant is incredible. I'm going with a combination of both.Keep up the great work, the mac&cheese and kids tacos were also a big hit! We had the pasta salad with the waffle chicken sandwich. It was amazing.... tasted like a waffle with a bread consistency. ... Shared the curry vegetable over rice. Lovely..just the right amount of sauce. So nice to have real vegetables! Then we ate theNanaimo bar. It was so delicious. No one cheaped out on the chocolate !! Thank you for a great meal. Read more
