This isn?t about the product. The product is great. This is about what I experienced on Mammas special day. First of all, having... one person open and run a 5 dollar medium special that is PICKUP OR WALK IN alone is absolute madness. Then to top it all offthere was no way to make change. The til was empty. From 11 am the phone wouldn?t stop ringing and then online orders flowingin, one man can?t make 30 pizzas an hour. It?s not possible. I ordered my pizza at 6:27pm. It arrived 2 hours later at 8:35. I called multiple times to find out where my food was, and was... told each time it was ?on the way?? I should have just cancelled my order. Nobody ever apologized for the inconvenience on thephone. Read more
New to the area, and our go to has always been Mamma?s so naturally we would give our business to tested and true. That was the... mistake, this stores standards were set far lower than Eglinton West location. Ordered combination pizza which was over cooked,and actually had char on it. The medium cheese pizza was not made fresh, very obviously reheated and sent to us. Tasted ofcardboard and was slightly warmer than room temperature. This was the owners choice to do this, so I?m not going to bothercalling. He lost all future business from us, and I wouldn?t take anything free from them. What a way to violate one?strust. If I could give this restaurant fewer stars?I would. They were very rude on the phone. We tried to order a pizza from the... takeout menu that we got from them the week before and they said they didn?t make the pizza anymore. They put us on hold for 8mins and then hung up on us. We phoned back 3 times with the same response. We finally ordered a pizza at 10 pm and we waiteduntil 11:15 pm for it to arrive. When we called to check on it, they were closed. I had a slice of the pizza al pollo (marinated chicken, roasted red peppers, red onions, garlic and oregano) and was very... pleasantly surprised. It was flavorful and the crust was perfect. Aside from having a wide variety of meat pizzas, they alsohave a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I will definitely be back to try more if not all of them. Read more
I was skeptical at the ideas of Gourmet pizza first but the number of options for pizza made me try this place. I was... delightfully surprised. One of the best quality pizza I ever had so far. The people who work here are great too. Despite beingbusy they were patient enough to guide me with my selection and customization. Read more
Worst customer service! I understand employees are tired but they should not be rude with clients, especially if they are... polite. I had a very bad experience in this location. Basically, I ordered a special deal that it was exhibited in their shopscreen, however, they over charge me because of "apparently" that deal did not exist any longer. Well, they should not misleadcustomers with fake specials. Anyways, first and last time visiting this location. To be fair pizza was decent, so good luck toyou out there. Read more
Never answers their phone - tested on multiple occasions at different times over the past year, no answer. One time a while back... they even refused to delicer during store hours. This location has the worst service ever. I have been getting mama's pizzasince they opened at other locations. The bayview location is pathetic. The owner has posted responses about making changes toimprove their service for years but nothing has changed. Mama's pizza has lost a lot of business not just at this location, butall their others too from me, my friends and family given our experience at this location. Perhaps management and the owner canstart improving by putting more effort into actually running their business as opposed to responding to Google reviews. Read more
