We were recommended to go here for biryani. We are vegetarians and were told must try the kofta biryani. And this is all we got.... Family size (I think this is half tray) is good for 4-6 adults. We had delicious lunch at Bawarchi. My family of 5 had biriyanis, Flavorful chicken appetizers, soft Bhatura. Tasty and kids... friendly food and good quantity too . Last but not the least Mango lassi!! Delicious!!!. Read more
The food here was truly excellent. It was served hot and fresh to our table. The spices in the Chicken Biryani dish were so good... that they permeated right into the sections of rice that had no sauce. This was my first time there and it was the best Indianfood that I've had in a long time. I do eat Indian food on a daily to weekly basis. The dining area is nothing fancy, so thereis no need for anything but casual dress, but the food is as good as fine dining. Staff were friendly and most accomodating, aswell. We ordered Veg Dhum Biryani, Gobi manchurian and Chicken dum biryani, all of them were very spicy. One person at the restaurant... was so caring and good at custmer service. Dining is not a good option, as restrooms are not comfortable. I prefer this only forgrown-ups(not for kids) to eat and take away(not dine in). Read more
Had lunch at this place during visit to NJ. Definitely Not the best Of Bawarchi. We have ordered Chicken lollipops, but there is... no chicken inside for one Lollipop (have a look at that picture!) when I complained, he seems not even care about it. CustomerService is not good. Mid week lunch treat did not disappoint. The Boneless Chicken Biryani Platter is a flavor explosion. The waiter gave us a little... tutorial on the proper order to partake so as to not miss or disguise all the amazing flavors. No skimping on the quantityeither.
