Fernando is a great place to take your family for some good homemade food. During Covid and while I was getting my kitchen... remodel- Fernando?s was my go to place for my family; since the food was so good we ordered take out at least 3-4 times a week.Oh and the cakes are huge and great ( per my family :-) says). My family and I love this place. If you are looking for a southern style, hot and ready food bar that also includes pizza and... desserts, this is a great little place to go. The food is always hot and fresh and doesn't taste like it came out of a can. Andif you are not looking for an all you can eat buffet, their menu items are equally as good. Absolutely the best!! Quality food at an affordable price. I eat there multiple times a week both dine in and carry out... (especially their pizzas which are awesome!). The food bar is an exceptional value with a wide selection. Breakfast anytime isdefinitely a treat and their fried breakfast potatoes are phenomenal ????. Noticed they were always busy in the dinner hours. I decided to try this place out. Got take out buffet. It was not... disappointing. Made a sampler plate. Meat loaf, barbecue,shrimp. Had Cabbage,green beans ,fried okra and a salad. The salad barhad plenty of variety. I will be going back . ???? Read more
Service is terrible. No sense of urgency. If you are with any delivery service, they change the time that you arrive. I was... there 20 mins but they had it changed and had me looking like I was only there 3 mins. Then had an attitude as if it was myorder. Nah. Read more
First time here and it was good. Had the buffet. 4 stars as I only can see myself coming here once a month. I only had 1 issue... which is personal, the dressing/stuffing has to much sage or celery seed taste to it. Not a big deal. Like I said, personaltaste. Read more
So. First of all if you google breakfast buffet they come up. #1 they do NOT have a breakfast buffet. Now, since I was there and... did not feel like spending another hour to find somewhere else to wait for a table and eat I just ordered coffee and a singlepancake and an order of bacon. My son had a half order of French toast and coffee with a side of bacon. The pancakes took about20mins to get and I think they had been sitting there that long b were brought out. Stone cold. Wouldn?t even melt the butter.So, I asked if they could please just throw them into the microwave and heat them up. I kinda got an ?insulted? look for asking.Like she was offended I didn?t want to eat cold pancakes. Coffee was lukewarm as well which was odd I thought. Anyway, thepancakes came back and they were still barely hot enough to melt the butter again but I wasn?t going to ask them to reheat themagain. They were thin and tasted like cardboard. Pancakes are hard to fumble but this was definitely in the bottom tier. Myson?s French toast looked alright but was cold too when he got it Anyway, I hold my reservations about dinner. It may be amazingbut breakfast sucked. My ticket was $21. I left the waitress $10 because well, the struggle is real and went somewhere else toget some breakfast. Read more
