Reviews for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in East Ridge, TN
We had a to-go order. They gave me unsweet tea instead of sweet, didn?t put syrup with my pancakes, were out of meatloaf, but... they didn?t tell us until they brought the rest of the food out. The food was already 20 minutes late from what the website saidplus an additional 10 minutes for cooking the replacement order. The rest of the food we received tasted good, but it wasdefinitely a rushed effort. Read more
My first time to this location but I'm a fan of Cracker Barrel and love the homestyle food. Service was somewhat lacking this... time. Food was great- as always. I love shopping in the retail area each trip. They have clothes, old times candy, and othermerchandise not typically found in a restaurant. Read more
Long wait, no refill, steak ordered medium well brought out burnt on one side, rare on the other. It is what it is after the... plandemic. Read more
First of all, just because a person is eating alone does not give the servers the right to basically ignore the customer. Took... over ten minutes before I was even acknowledged by the wait staff! The server apologized for making me wait! Then it took overthirty minutes before I received my food! And the server again apologized for the wait! Even though it was a Sunday, therestaurant was not as busy as I thought it would be, I almost got up and left and I really should have, I have never seenservice so painfully slow at this Cracker Barrel, refills on the tea took time also, when I got ready to leave the server ask meif I wanted a to go tea to which I replied ?yes?. Never got it! ????. When I left he made sure to tell me thank you and have anice day though, apparently he was wanting a good tip, he got a tip, but it was definitely not the type of tip I normally leave, service was horrible! And now on to the food- very bland! No taste whatsoever, I should have gone somewhere else. Read more

We came in out of town for a home style meal. Waited 20 minutes for a table and browsed and bought a few trinkets in the shop.... Sat down and waited another 10 minutes before anyone came. She struggled. No refills, wrong order, and kept forgetting anythingwe asked for, such as napkins, honey, and our refills. Food was delicious and filling! Menu has so many options. The gm stoppedby and talked to me and I told him my experience. I don't expect service anymore. He disagreed and we chatted. He is the onlyreason this isn't getting a 2 star review. Want a manager! I'm glad they are still out there. Read more
It doesn't seem to matter with Cracker Barrel. The food and service is always hit or miss. First the positive. I love browsing... the store to see all the pretties. This time I found a Christmas outfit and a couple of gifts. The employees were really helpfuland willing to keep my items behind the counter until we finished eating Our wait staff had a wonderful attitude. In addition, our waitress was pleasant and the manager on shift took care of an issue for me quickly. Now, with that said, the not sopositive. The hostess wasn't very welcoming. They might have been tired but I felt like a bother. We knew what we wanted so ourwaitress was able to take our full order right then. I ordered a Coke and a water. My husband ordered a lemonade and a water. Hesaid the lemonade was a lot more sour rather than sweet but not un-drinkable. My coke though, tasted more like diet so I had thewaitress change it for new. The second one tasted the same so I opted for sending it back and sticking with water. Both myhusband and I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner with three sides. That usually gives me a nice lunch as well. Not thistime. The green beans and the biscuits were the only things I was willing to eat. My husband ate a bit more of his but we didn'tbother with left overs. We never received refills on our drinks and when we finally got the bill, we found we had still beencharged for the Coke I'd sent back. The manager took it off for me. In conclusion, if you want Cracker Barrel food, this isprobably not the location to visit for dinner during the week. If you just want to visit the country store, this location isfantastic. Read more
