Came here for dinner on a Sunday. The classic calamari was delicious. Our entrée was even better. The fish n chips and talapia... were tasty, but we had to find out about the hot lobster roll we've been hearing about. There's a plaque on the wall next to thehost desk where in June 2022 Flanders has the best lobster roll in the area. So, we ordered it, and it did not disappoint. Trulythe best lobster roll I've had here in the area. Our server was fabulous and the staff was extremely friendly. Definitelyrecommend coming here. Read more

I went to Flanders to see Julie and it was an awesome experience! We are traveling and stopped in Niantic for the night and... were looking for a good restaurant. The hotel clerk recommended Flanders and he was spot on. The thing I liked the most was howfriendly everyone who worked there and how much of a team effort they put forth. We had multiple people pick up empty plates, ask if we needed anything and tell us thanks for being there. Julie did an excellent job of waiting on us and making us feelwelcome. The food was fresh and fantastic. Cooked to perfection, very tasty and reasonably priced. What a great place!! Read more

Flanders is an adorable little restaurant very clean and nice staff was very very polite food is very good for the price. we... recommend the shrimp wings with teriyaki sauce. Flanders is a must-try in the Niantic Area. I got the grilled lemon garlic salmon with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. The... salmon had a perfect lemon flavor and i love how they cooked the onion for the veggies. It had no onion flavor and was soft. Wealso tried the beer battered fish and chips and the fish was so light and fresh. The batter wasn?t oily and had a good flavorand the coleslaw was sweet. Even if you come to pick up seafood, their fish case looks so fresh. Definitely want to come backand try their huge carrot cake and New England Clam Chowder. Read more

Food was very good. They can accommodate for gluten sensitivities (but not celiac safe as there is chance for cross... contamination to be fair). Very busy, call ahead for a table when possible or expect a wait time. They luckily were able to getme a small table right away. Staff was accommodating and friendly and checked in often. Food came out quickly. There were acouple pieces of shrimp shell in the pasta but overall it was a good dish. Gorgonzola was a bit overpowering. Clams were freshbut not soaked prior, as they still had quite a bit of sand in them. But in a busy restaurant, I expect that time constraintshappen. Still fairly happy with the food. I would definitely return. Read more

We visited with a party of 6 for mother's day and ordered a good bit of food for the table and for ourselves. I ordered the... onion rings for an appetizer and the rodeo burger for my entree. The onion rings were fresh and hot and the burger was huge andtasty. The other appetizers my party got for the table were good as well, the ones I tried, the stuffed portobello mushroom andthe Parm calamari. The area we were in was packed for mother's day and the service was amazing considering the slight delays dueto the packed house. Seafood isn't my personal jam, but if you like seafood this is definitely a good spot to try out with thelarge variety of options and different cooking methods. Read more

Amazing food and service! I hadn't been to Flanders Fish Market in several years but drove down to the CT shore for some great... seafood. Got calamari, clam strips, and a lobster roll. The calamari and clam strips were lightly fried golden brown and werevery tender and flavorful. The cold lobster roll had just enough mayo and celery not to cover the lobster taste. Our server wasNicole. She was very friendly and gave us recommendations. Well worth the trip! Read more
