Mr menudo for the win. I've been wanting to try this spot out got me a small menudo order with hominy straight up I like that... flavor it's not like other places where u can smell it and taste it and they taste funky do to not being properly preped cleanright this menudo didn't have that funky taste I prep mines with all the works it was bomb!!!!! These guys park their trailer on Whittier Bl. in East L.A. Very bad menudo; he told me that they don't add hominy because his... father's recipe does not call for it. They claim that hominy takes away from the flavor; what flavor? It does not haveflavor.....disgusting!! Read more

Came here on the recommendation of my BFF. Ordered a small for mom and two large for hubby and me. $33, including tortillas and... all the fixings (no cilantro ????). Served to order; you can have it with or without hominy, with or without ?pata,? which Ihighly recommend. The result was a clean, flavorful (it could?ve used more salt but that was it) soup that I would definitelymake the 25 minute drive for again. Well done!! Read more
