My parents and I went out for dinner. Twin Pines is one of their favorites. Mom had the spinach pie for dinner and its always... good. Dad enjoyed the stuffed pepper diner with a baked potato and spinach. I had the bbq chicken diner with fries and spinach.Food was good as expected and served quickly. Dessert was chocolate moose, wasn't as good as I had last time but also not bad. Read more

This place was ehh ok! They have any cuisine you want which is weird to me. The menu was about 8 pages. I got the boiled... tilapia which was bland .. pickled beets nasty and I love them and potatoe salad also bland no spices or flavor. I also got thecarrot cake which I did not love like I wanted to because it was whipped icing. Service was terrible the waitress had to goback every time and ask a question while we were ordering. Like does the potatoes salad have green peppers and a way to theback she went 5 times she did that. Was very annoying. . I asked for small cup of cheese for my starter salad and she cameback with a huge bowl 20 minutes later. We weren?t very happy but we are visiting the area and definitely wouldnt come back. The place probably would be better if they slimmed down the menu to their specialty and put focus on that so the food mighttaste better. Read more

I know times have changed but I paid $35 for a sandwich with fries, a ?Greek? salad, and a piece of short cake. Sandwich looked... like it came off the kids menu with 1 slice of steak, ?greek? salad was just brown iceberg lettuce and feta? (even now a wholefresh head is like $1, no olives, no stuffed grape leaves, like 1 piece of tomato), and the whipped cream on the shortcaketasted spoiled. You know it wasn?t fresh since the strawberry garnish on the top was as brown as the iceberg lettuce.Disgusting. I only the sandwich and fries. Used to eat here every night. Will never return if this is what it?s going to be. Read more

Have eaten here at Twin Pines Diner twice. You are getting a bargain if you order off the all inclusive menu. You get soup and... salad and dessert served with your meal. The menu is extensive! Lots to choose from. We liked it so much, we've decided to workour way through the menu. Both servers were amazing. You'll be greeted at the door and seated. Then offered beverages. TheCappuccino is amazing! The fresh whipped cream on top is the bomb! Please order the prime rib! It's huge! Couldn't finish ourmeals, so we took dessert home. Cauliflower au gratin was horrible. It was just Cauliflower with a cheese sauce. Not au gratin. But that is my only complaint. The bread is made fresh and served warm. I'd go back just for the bakery! Wow! I'll update withfuture photos and edit with any revisions as I eat my way through the menu. Read more

One of the best diners in the East Haven area. Always fast service and great food. Parking can be annoying at times but we have... never had an issue waiting for a table. If you want to swing by for a quick sandwich or omelette it's hard to do better. Read more

Where do I start. Their breakfast food was wayyyy better than the lunch the food. My significant other and I shared meals. The... eggs and hash were homemade and was outstanding. However, the wrap was below average. Very chewy chicken, way to much fillingand not enough chicken. CHicken was probably 1/5th of the wrap. Wait staff was okay no issue with them. Hash pictured. As wellas Buffalo Chicken wrap. 4/5 stars thanks to the breakfast meal. Read more
