I have been a customer for 10yrs. I love this place. But today I witnessed an ignorant customer disrespect the waitstaff.. .... When the waitress gave the couple there che ck,they walked out without paying. . They hostess when out to the parking and toldthem that they need to pay for what they ate. The hostess came back in and the couple followed behind. The couple became irateand began screaming ans swearing saying their water glass was dirty. After this continued several minutes the hostess asked themto leave. So at the end result they got their way. And that is not paying for their meal. The staff handled this situation likeprofessional. Honestly not impressed. Should have known by the lack of cars in the parking lot on a Thursday afternoon this was not a good... choice for lunch. Why do people ask how you would like your burger cooked if they are going to cook it well done anyways? Frieswere frozen and burger had no taste, probably frozen too. A friend got a Veggie burger which made them violently ill soon afterwe left. I will not go back there. The only reason they are getting two stars and not one is because the waitress was nice andattentive without being a pain. Read more
Reside in Groton came to East Haven for an appointment. Saw this family restaurant stopped in cause it had good ratings. Glad... we did, diner has a diverse menu and the food was excellent along with the services. Got another upcoming appointment in EastHaven and will definitely return to this restaurant again. Not familiar with the restaurants in East Haven but know where to gofor great family dining. Read more
stop to get lunch today and this is their idea of a chicken salad club no bacon not not much of anything and we also got a plain... Burger with just onions that came with lettuce tomato and onions not a hugh thing but any one cooking should know what clubsandwich is and what just onions on a burger is ... yeah I don't know why I got 4 stars either Read more
Waiters and staff were using mask during service. Our seating for a group of six (6) was quick. The restaurant was not packed.... The service was good and our food was brought to us around 20 minutes after ordering. We had burgers, a hot dog and a BLTsandwich. All served with fries. The burgers were a little dry, but okay. Overall, the food was okay, but we were there as afamily, saying goodbye to mom/grandma before she moves out of state. Read more
