Reviews for John Papas Cafe in East Hampton, NY
Such a nice cafe to visit. Was in the Hamptons for work and ate all my breakfast and lunch here. Highly recommend.
Classic diner food done well. Americana is alive and well...
place is decent, good breakfast and people, BUT, they have cut the amount of beef on their GYRO, get more beef and less filler... stuff and i give you a 5 star, let?s go people, Where?s The Beef!? Read more
Food has consistently been solid here, menu is like a NYC diner with plenty of options. Each time we?ve been they?ve been busy... but we?ve been for Kate to not have to wait for a table. The beef and barley soup special was excellent. With regards to thestaff, our experience had been great just busy. Read more
I have to say the food is great. But I was so embarrassed how the manager treated me she was treating me like I was not welcome... there. I ordered my food and an 1 hr later she tells me someone picked it up. I then stated I have no family here to pickanything up. I was not going to argue with her she clearly stated like I didn't know what I was speaking of. After waiting 25more minutes she said here Mami your food is ready. I am mommy to my kids no stranger I'm not sure that if it was racist or not. Read more
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Has a diner feel to it. Very friendly staff!
Good ole John Papas Cafe.. I heard it?s an iconic breakfast/brunch/diner spot in town so I had to stop by and check it out.... Place was jumping when I walked in which is always a good sign. I went with the Norwegian Smoked Salmon platter and loved it!This thing was massive and almost couldn?t finish. Definitely an item you can split with someone and feel plenty full afterward. Read more
Honestly, I remember the food here being much better in the past. The chicken salad sandwich I had was like eating tasteless... paste. It's a shame to really as the staff are friendly and aim to please. They really need to up their game when it comes tofood quality. Read more
