My husband and I stayed here for our mini honeymoon the weekend of our wedding, we will most definitely be staying here again!... The front desk staff was very nice, very accommodating and a pleasure to work with while making our room reservations. Our roomwas quiet, well put together and extremely clean! We had a beautiful view of a water fountain and two steps out of our door wasthe main house and restaurant. We ate inside the restaurant for dinner; the food, wine and service was excellent! In the morningthe restaurant serves a nice breakfast spread. We scheduled a wine tour and the front desk called our room to notify us when ourlimo arrived and wished us a fun day. We only ate at the restaurant. The food was amazing. Service was great. Ambiance is to live for.
Worst service ever. I did a reservation 2 weeks in advance, call 5 days before to make sure that everything is ok cause it will... be my birthday. They said they take a reservation for outside but I have to call again 2 days before and didn’t mention that Ihave to call at 9 am. When I called 2 days before at 3 pm, they said they don’t have anything outside. Previously I asked toput a note that we want a seat only at the garden. The were not able to help us out. Thr restaurant is located in an Inn in a quiet street. Make sure you request upstairs dining or outdoors dining (5/5), they also... having a smaller, more intimate and....cavernous dining room downstairs (3/5). Food was very well executed and fresh, the staffare attentive and friendly. Read more
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. My husband got the asparagus salad, pork... loin, Banana and chocolate chip financier. I got the fois gras, rabbit pasta and ricotta cheesecake. Loved everything ???? Read more
We visited Presidents day weekend. A very good stay, the concierge in particular was on the ball, enhancing our stay by taking... the burden of organizing our dinners and events. The room and facilities were up to scratch and very cosy. I'd proffer the food,we used both the dinner & breakfast service, should have been a little better. Mostly good, with some excellent parts, executionlacking. However, the range of offerings for vegetarians by modern standards was extremely limited. It was also highly unusualto have only whole milk available at breakfast. C'mon! Almond & Oat are pretty much standard in this environment. Overall, woulddefinitely recommend. Read more
We had an excellent birthday dinner at the 1770 House restaurant. My wife had the bisque, I had the fluke tartare and we both... had the salmon, all perfectly prepared and presented. This is a good choice for a special occasion. Read more
