As I remember ….flew into Toronto Sunday from Calgary, this was the first place I headed for……last time I visited was some... years ago and they still have great food at today’s prices is great value for money. I am BAFFLED at the service received last night. My boyfriend came in around 7:15pm Sunday night at this location. Hostess was... great, quickly brought us to the table. The hostess served us our chips and salsa about 10 minutes after we were seated. Wenever met our server until 20 minutes after seated. She asked what we wanted to drink. Our drinks came 10 minutes after that,but she never took our order and ran off. 30 minutes after serving our drinks to us, she asked us what we wanted to eat. Are youserious? At this point, both of our drinks and waters were finished long ago. We asked for the bill, she gave us attitude overit, and surprisingly she actually charged us.. for her poor service. We would have never came here if we knew the service wouldbe this bad. We were debating this place and Swiss chalet. We made the wrong choice. Over an hour of waiting without getting ourorder taken. Went during margapalooza! They have 20 different margaritas to try. Our kid had the chicken fingers and fries while hubby and I... had the spicy Mango martini (very spicy with jalapeno) and the blue shark drink (sweet & refreshing). Our most recent visit was the third strike in a row for this place... First time was a problem with the kitchen and food... quality. The second time was an issue with service and how slow it was (mainly the waitress not coming around to our table whenwe needed something), and the third and latest issue was kitchen and service. Our steaks came out wrong (one was well done andthe other was a notch under well done but not medium well which is what we ordered). The waitress was nice enough but you couldtell she really didn't want to be there. Between table visits, which there were only 4 within a 90 minute visit, once to greetus and take drink orders, which we had already decided what we wanted already, so we ordered food at this point as well. Another visit about 30 seconds after our food got to the table to ask how everything tasted - which we didn't know yet becausewe hadn't started - our food was delivered by a different server. Half way through our meal we needed a drink re-fill andtrying to track down the waitress was near impossible because she was not visible anywhere in the restaurant for at least 20minutes and when she was seen she would scurry from one point to another not making eye contact. And finally, when we asked forthe bill. I could understand if the place was busy, but this was 7:30pm on a Wednesday - the dining room and bar were dead. Onbill delivery we mentioned our food concerns and there was no sorry, no comp, nothing. Really bad service for an $80 food billfor two people. I usually tip, even if it's minimal... Not very happy with the cleanliness or presentation of the food provided..don’t see too much of crowd but food was delivered... late The taste doesn’t stand out or nothing exceptional that I need to to visit again to try some other items in menu. Read more

The worst service I've had anywhere in over a decade. Failed on all fronts. No one at front door for over 5 minutes. Took 15... minutes to get a table in an almost empty restaurant. Half of the tables were covered in dishes still (none were cleared duringour entire meal) waited another 20 minutes for drinks. When food came they realized they'd forgotten an order (kids chickenfingers) was assured it would be out quick but the rest of us were almost done when it finally came. Kids quesadillas hadseveral hairs in them. Steak for fajitas tasted like charcoal. Shredded cheese was dry and hard. Waited 25 minutes afterfinishing to get bill (you could hear the staff all partying it up in the back. No staff seen in the restaurant for over 30minutes.) Read more

Visited for the first time after the dinner rush. Unfortunately they were understaffed which created a long wait at the door.... Our server/bar tender was friendly, but she was focused more on socializing rather than tending to her tables. The food wasalright and the prices were fair. I recommend sticking to what they’re known for and only ordering the fajitas. They weredelicious and served in large portions. Avoid the Brisket Queso Dip, it was unpalatable.
