I visited Colonial Diner today with my family for brunch. Good food expected from a long standing Jeresy diner. Large portions... at very affordable prices. I got a large omelette with home fries with a side of toast for $15 dollars. Server was reallygreat, he memorized all 6 orders without writing anything down and got everything exactly the way we specified. He made somegreat recommendations and was very observant to our needs, brought crayons for the kids and coffee for the table immediatelyafter we finished it. All around a great experience and the food was definitely larger portions than I expected, solid value andI'd definitely be happy to come back here again for a meal any time of the day! Read more

Ask for Terry and you won't be sorry. Treats you better than mom does at meal time. I had the Cobb salad and shouldn't have had... lunch earlier in the day. Two meals, easy. Skip the cream of broccoli soup but their fries are crispy and seasoned. Little Bitof Everything breakfast is just that and delicious. Stop by the dessert counter on the way out and grab a slice of cheesecake togo with the leftovers later. Read more

I came here for dinner with my family, and it was an interesting experience. The hostess seated us at our table, then someone... else who wasn?t a server got us our drinks. Our server, Grace, was very nice. I got the penne alla vodka with chicken, whichcame with a salad. The salad was okay, the dressing was interesting, I think that it was very mild and needed a little moreflavor. The penne alla vodka was amazing, the sauce was nice and there was a good amount of sauce in it. The chicken they addedon top was a little dry. I will say that we waited quite a bit for our food, maybe about 45 minutes, but it was goodnonetheless. I came in hungry but I had to take home a meal?s worth of leftovers, which tasted amazing the next day. And Gracewas very attentive and welcoming with us. All in all, I think the food was good, and the service was excellent, but the timewaiting for the food could have been improved. Read more

I enjoyed the Sky High French Toast. I don't usually order something so whimsical but today I wanted to try something different.... It was huge! I enjoyed eating it and the fruit was delicious. I highly recommend. Read more
