First the good part - their food is indeed very good. Now the not so good: the prices are too high - $17 for Corned Beef... hash, $13 for an omelette. Waitresses are not the friendliest, the one we had TODAY acted like she was doing us a favor. Wewere made to feel like we were taking up space even though there were always 2 empty tables the whole time we were there. Beforewarned that they do charge more for using a credit card - which is fine - so be prepared to pay cash. At least their menudoes give both cash and cc prices, which was not the case back in the spring. Yeah, I know - everything is high, blah blah. Well there are 2 other breakfast options in town much more reasonable and one also makes home made hash for almost half theprice. And the waitresses at those restaurants are wonderful. Read more

We where out that way after visiting the Quilt Farm and decided to stop and have lunch at Iron Kettle. We enjoy the friendly... greeting we received as we entered the Iron Kettle and was seated in lunch area. The waitress was vary friendly and took ourorder for lunch and the food was out standing not like a fast food restaurant we enjoyed eating our food and the friendlyatmosphere of the Iron Kettle staff and will come back again for Breakfast soon. I am so glad this place has stayed open. Absolutely adorable inside, like eating in someone's home. The food is homemade and... utterly delicious. The portions are generous. Read more

We went to breakfast the other day and the service was good, the staff was very friendly and the food was good as well.... HOWEVER, the food was certainly not $36.00 good for an omelet / potato dish and an egg and hash dish, with coffee of course. The meal was WAY over priced. On top of that, they charged me an additional 4% because I used a credit card to pay. Thatreally added insult to injury. We have some fond memories of the Iron Kettle going back many years but it's very doubtful ifwe'll be back unless they get their pricing in line. Read more

The food was great, I had hash made from fresh roasted brisket and home fries, the best I've had anywhere. The service was... excellent, anything we needed was promptly delivered to our table. The generous portions leave no room for lunch. I wouldrecommend this restaurant to anyone. Read more
