Stopped in for a late night full dinner during the Phillies game on Saturday 10.22.22. Liz greeted us quickly and got our drinks... and appetizer (went with cheese steak egg rolls ????). My husband had the roasted veggie penne with alfredo and shrimp. I likethat you can add your own sauce and protein to the penne and veggies. I had the prime rib with baked potato (could have beenbaked another half hour but still good), with a generous portion of broccoli just served very blend no salt, butter orseasoning. Nice size dive bar. They have a nice size menu and ample parking in their parking lot. I ordered only appetizers and they were... all good. I tried my friend?s wings with boom boom sauce and mozzarella sticks which were also tasty. I ordered the buffalochicken flatbread and cheesesteak egg rolls. Although they were tasty, there could be some adjustments. The buffalo chickenflatbread could use more hot sauce and blue cheese/ranch. The cheesesteak rolls could also use more cheese. Eaten inside once. Received take out a few times. The big beef is sooo good. Enough for two sandwiches. Get extra au jus on the... side because it?ll be magical. Comes with fries. I like American cheese but it comes with cheddar. They can be very busy sodefinitely call in advance. Read more
We just held a Funeral Luncheon at Chaps. I can't speak highly enough about our experience! The owner, Kathy, was wonderful... from my first phone call to arrange the luncheon to the very end. She helped arrange the menu when I couldn't think clearly. The food was delicious and the service great! I would highly recommend their catering service to anyone looking! Read more
Took the wife and our 2 year old here to eat, it was close to the hotel so we figured we would give it a shot. We get seated its... about 5 at this time we get our drinks and where told they would come back for our order. About 25 minutes later still no orderbeing taken, mind you i can see the waiter just chilling by the bar fanning her self. It was not really busy. So after 30 minswe left. Was it a fluke? i dont know but that literally has never happened to me ever and i was not about to wait and see howlong it took her to bring me food if i did finally get to order,and the glass of coke i did get to taste was horrible you cantell the are a bar first and a restaurant second. Don't ask how you want your prime rib cooked if you're not able to cook it properly. My husband asked for rare & got medium... well. My mushroom ravioli dish had a vodka sauce that was incredibly bland (although on the menu it was said to be 'a little bitspicy'. Read more
Food is above average. Nice clean place to hang and watch a game. Plenty of taps to keep a craft beer drinker interested, and a... pretty good take out selection. One of my personal favorites in the area. Read more
