Large portion as you can tell from the pics. The skillet Mexican styled food (forget the name -.-) is so good!

Went to breakfast there this morning for the first time. It was AMAZING! Service was excellent and food came fast. Eggs were... super fresh, hash browns cooked perfectly, and the BEST pancakes and the homemade wheatberry bread was to die for! Plus, theyhad my favorite hot sauce on the table rather than icky tabasco. We live about two hours away and will be looking for reasons tovisit the area again, just to have another meal like this one. Hats off to the owners and staff. They've been there for years and have expanded into a chain. I aways kid my wife about going to Perkins, refuring to friendship... house. No Perkins in and better. The food is consistently good, service is fast, even when crowded the food comes out fast. Bycrowded I mean standing waiting for a table. Plenty of seating. Owners or managers come check on your meal satisfaction eachtime. My only knock that unless you've been going there is the menu has shrunk and of course a few things I like disappeared Read more

Went about 8am, was seated for 5 right away. The menu was large, lots of choices. The server was extremely friendly and... accomodating. The food came out faster than I could finish my first cup of coffee! And it was delicious. The kid pancakes werehuge and they loved them. Great place for breakfast if you're near Eagle River. My family loves this place. For a small-town restaurant, they do a pretty good job accommodating various dietary needs. Even... when they've been really busy, we have never had to wait more than fifteen minutes to be seated. The staff is always smilingand friendly, and Friendship House must bea good place to work because there's very little staff turnover. They have a sizeablemenu, serve breakfast all day, and the food is good. It's what you're expect Grandma to serve: nothing too fancy, but definitelydelicious and hearty! Read more

This was a super cute environment! Lots of hanging plants and sweet wood accents. And if your kids are into collecting those... little toys from quarter machines, bring some quarters! My burger was good, a little dry though. I got the Alpine burger. Thefries were actually really yummy! Much of my family is gluten free so this was a great place for us! They had gluten free bunsand fries. And even when we didn't say we needed the croutons on the side, our waitress was quite considerate and put them onthe side just in case! Read more
