If you like pizzas that are loaded with toppings, this is your place. I love a slice that is bending from the weight and they... had some like that here. They were really good. I'm not giving 5 stars though, because they are crazy expensive pizzas. You arelooking at $18-$22 a pizza and if I'm dropped $40 on pizza, I'll do Moose's Tooth in Anchorage. If they drop their prices $4-5bucks a pizza, we would eat there more, but they are just pricey enough that I'm not really interested. Read more

WASTE OF TIME.. sadly it was my last time ordering from Pizza Man. I was told my pick-up order would take 30 min. I came in 30... min later? 5 minutes after I paid I was told that they JUST STARTED making my order and it would be another 10 min.. I waited 40MINUTES total at the restaurant. In total it took 1hr 10min, not 30min. Food is way over priced for the quality, the wait timeis absurd and you have to track down employees just for service. GO TO MATANUSKA BREWING right down the street, wait time isjust as long but at least you get good quality food. I paid $18 for some pasta with hard/tough cubed chicken and another $20 fora medium Margarita pizza with the thickest tomatoes thrown on top and uncooked mozerella cheese. If you?re going to makecustomers wait so long, the quality needs to be better. Read more

I used to like this place but after my experience tonight I will have a hard time going back. They forgot items in my order and... when we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza the lady receiving the order repeated it as a ?BBQ chicken? pizza. We reiterated wewanted a buffalo pizza and she assured us that she changed it. Got home to a BBQ pizza and my girlfriend later cracked her toothon an olive pit that was supposed to be pitted. There seems to be a common theme with not only mediocre customer service butflat out disregard for respect and customer service. 72$ for 2 medium pizzas and cheese curds is steep if you?re going to belousy at your job Read more

I placed an order at 7:15 and and didn?t receive my order until 9:35. When my pizza arrived tonight the pizza was cold. The... bottom of the pizza boxes were wet and peeling from the condensation from them sitting in the bag too long. When the driverarrived he told me the kitchen was off tonight and as soon as it was ready he brought it to me. Very dissatisfied and willprobably never order again. Btw the pizza was disgusting and inedible! Read more

Service was good! Our waitress was attentive and fun. The pizza was not bad, but also not my style. The crust was a little... thick for my liking. If you're in the area I would check it out and give it a shot. Read more

Well! I wish I had taken more pictures at this place but it was the first time I'd encountered a "schooner" of beer outside of... the Pacific Northwest. It distracted me from taking any further photos at this remarkable establishment. I can't talk highlyenough about this pizza joint. It's conveniently located right off the Glenn Hwy and easy to get to and then back on the roadagain. I loved the quirky layout of the building and the obvious expanse that has taken place as the place has grown. As an outof towner or "tourist" it was a treat to walk in and start looking at historical local Alaskan memorabilia. I got the sense thatthere was a lot of nostalgia and pride in the support of the local community. It gave off a super family friendly and welcomingair as we were escorted to our table. Marlis was our server and she was so friendly, honest and helpful. She was more thanaccepting as I worked my way through 96 oz of beer. Let's talk more about beer. Being from the PNW I'm used to a Schooner beingsignificantly smaller than the "Mystery Schooner" Marlis brought me. It was a massively chilled 32oz bowl of Pizza Man Pale Aleto start with. 32oz! For $6! And it isn't even a Coor's, Bud Light, Miller Light, Rainier type of beer joint. They must have hadclose to 30 beers on tap and regular Schooners were only $8.75! For any beer on the menu! None of this PNW different prices fordifferent beers. It blew my mind. And the food was really great! Beyond expectations. Chicken wings, cheese sticks, steaksandwiches, egg plant parmesan and of course PIZZA were all great. Their menu could work a little harder on identifying glutenfree and vegetarian options as there aren't any markings in the menu. The menu itself is exhaustive and unexpected in it'sofferings. I suspect you can go back every other day for a month sharing plates and not quite get through the whole thing. Yougotta go. Make the drive, flight or float to get to Eagle River and experience the Pizza Man. Loca Read more

I have heard so many great things about this Pizza place and thought it's about time I try it. Well i would have been better... off going somewhere else. We called in 2 pizzas for take out totaling $49.xx The pizza was burned. Burned. We triedsupporting local businesses at a premium just to get burned. I will not be going back there again. I think i need a manager tomy window ASAP. Seriously Little Cesars would have been a better choice. Read more
