Reviews for Casa México in Eagle, ID
We went in close to closing time and they still welcomed us in with a smile. Good food and salsa although you do have to pay for... any more after your first initial chips and salsa (as stated on the menu). I would probably go back again. Read more
My wife brought me home dinner, it was very bland, the peppers and onions were not cooked all the way. And barley enough chicken... to fill the 3 little tortillas given for being almost a $20 meal. What a waste of money. Would of been better off going to TacoBell. Won't be going there again! Read more
The salad was a bagged salad no different than what I buy at the store. The meat (chicken) wasn't all the way hot. The waitress... never cane to check on us and the chips were stale. We had also ordered something to go when we ordered our salads and when myson opened the meal, it barely had any chicken because it was all onion and pepper and they weren't even cooked all the way nottoo mention, it was very bland. The total bill was $59 and change and nit worth it at all. The only reason why we went there wasbecause we have eaten at the one on Fairview and we have never been disappointed. Giving this Eagle restaurant one star is onestar too many. Read more
When I walked in there were No other customers. That should've been my first red flag. The table service was on par. I ordered a... Chile relleno/chicken taco combo and the cooks got lazy because they gave me a cold omelet with the smallest pablano pepper I'veever seen. They did not whip the egg to make a batter. The taco was a sopping wet, flavorless mess. The rice was flavorless. Theonly thing good was the chips and salsa. I wouldn't feed their food to my dogs. Read more
Great Mexican restaurant. As others have said before, their salsa is distinctly delicious- my wife filled up on their bottomless... chips and salsa before we even got our meal! (Our food was done in a timely manner, my wife is pregnant right now and has alimited stomach capacity.) The pork burritos I ordered were stuffed full of soft, marinated cubes of pork which were quitetasty. It was a little more expensive than other authentic Mexican restaurants my wife and I frequent, with us spending $42.50(including the tip) on both our lowered priced meals, but as usual we both went home with leftovers and enjoyed them the nextday! They sure have gone downhill. Meals were very plain looking and blan tasting.Salsa was good. Expensive $16 burrito with no... lettuce, tomatoes or sour cream. Service was fine, just not the food. We won't be going back. I've been going to thisrestaurant for over 20 years. We'll go to Cafe Rio first, at least they have fresh ingredients. Read more
