Stopped here while doing a cross country road trip, and I can say with the most confidence. DONT EAT HERE. I?m from New England... and the bbq is better there, the south would cry tears of shame at this place. Ribs tasted like boiled hot dogs, and their saucetasted like ketchup with a HINT of bbq. Wings were alright. But no hot bbq sauce available. Sides were below average.
Imagine having bannanas pudding as one of your two sides, and you have Moe's, secret, except, the sauce is secret too. And they... say, don't forget bama style! Great outdoor seating. We got stuck in town because of floods in the canyon. We showed up as they were trying to close for an event and they still let... us come in and eat. They were very friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all. And the food was amazing!! Read more
Went for dinner. Had the smoked wings platter. Wings were well seasoned and had a very light smoked flavor. The wings are fresh... and not frozen. Well cooked. The Mac and cheese side was very good. The coleslaw is tangy but needed salt. The side of cornbreadwas pretty much tasteless. It is a chain so the quality might differ from one restaurant to the other. Friendly service. It's a quaint little place. Staff is GREAT! but don't let that fool you! Spent 18.00 $ on one of the WORST meals of my life!... Sweet potato fries got 3 big logs ONLY thing is I couldn't eat them they were COVERED in salt and pepper ! I couldn't even tastethe sweet potato for all the salt and pepper . The catfish was EVERY BIT AS BAD! Ordered a catfish sandwich if that's coleslaw Ireally don't know what to say??? Tasted like pure vinegar! The catfish was mushy and once again DRENCHED in salt!
