I'll start by saying getting here is not an easy drive. 2 mile narrow gravel road with many blind corners. However, once you... arrive you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking view and nice wine. We absolutely loved our visit. Friendly and accommodating service. The drive was an adventure but amazing things don?t come... easy. Dog friendly environment with winery dogs. Great selection of wine and our favorite was the merlot reserve. Don?t forgetthe wine slushy, refreshing and delicious. We can?t wait to visit again. Read more
We picked this vineyard for my sister in laws bachelorette weekend and we couldn?t have been more happy! Carter and Skylar were... the most amicable hosts for the twelve of us. Instantly greeted us, offered recommendations, and education on the wines. Wineswere to die for! Each of us ended up going home with a bottle. Incredible views of Dyke and the eastern facing valley and the low lying South Mountain range (the first set of mountains you... encounter heading west in VA). The wine was great and the decor was inviting. We visited on Good Friday around 2pm and itwasn?t busy which made it great to bring th dog and the kids! The drive up the gravel road is narrow and somewhat loose inspots so those uncomfortable driving in the mountains should take their time but as long as you?re not going too fast, it istotally worth the trip. This is our second time here and I love it each time! Absolutely obsessed with the view here. The wines are great too,... obviously. I would?ve gotten married here if it?s closer to DC and if the drive up and down the mountain isn?t so scary (I sweateach time on the road to and from there!!) But always worth it, of course. Amazing 1000 stars. My family is so appreciative. We needed help last minute and Deanna and their team were so helpful. They... allowed us to use their beautiful lower balcony for my brothers proposal and it was perfect. The views are immaculate. It?s Anadventure to get there but it?s worth it. Rachel was phenomenal she was in on the proposal and helped us with it. She made abeautiful cheese platter and helped us pick a yummy wine. We could not be any more grateful that they were so sweet and helpedmake their day so special and sweet. So head over here because not only is the place amazing but the staff is too!
