Avoid if you're not local and they know you're out of town. They will make you wait forever for your food. The young manager... along with the rest of the children in the back were having fun. Read more
Food was great, just a little bit pricey. I'm sorry, but $4 for an extra side item? Nah, won't be going back. Over $75 for 3... people, way too much in today's environment. The place wasn't very busy, and the server was almost non-existent. Read more

Alright! Now that my full stomach has settled I am more than happy to give my review of this place. My wife and I decided to go... eat out here despite the mixed reviews. As soon as we walked in we were comforted by a "rustic" southern, very comfortableatmosphere. The place did not have a lot of customers, maybe 3 tables were seated, which was nice for me and my wife because welike not being in a packed, chaotic atmosphere. We were seated kindly and asked what we would like to drink. I chose " ofcourse" sweet Tea with lemon because I love sweet tea, my wife got a regular soda. The sweet tea was amazing for my taste, justperfect and no complaints from my wife on her drink. We ordered our food, I got the Country fried steak with Fries and someColeslaw. My wife got the Chicken Monterey with a loaded Baked Potato. Our food arrived to us in a mere 18 minutes afterordering. The size of the Country Fried Steak took me aback. Its size took up half my plate, which of course made me very happy! It was the perfect size, well fitting for the actual decent price to pay. The food was amazing!! The Chicken was juicy andtender and seasoned well. The Country fried steak was cooked perfectly, a nice crust on the outside with some delicious whitepeppered gravy " I do wish it had more gravy haha". Half way through our meal our lovely waiter approached and we actuallytalked about the recent reviews of the place and it's history. Very well mannered young lady and has worked there for 2 years. She introduced us the New owner "What Luck!" Where we held a nice conversation as well and also discussed the matters of mixedreviews and what they are doing to improve. To wrap this up, this was my first time here, my wife's second time and we loved it.The food is great, timely service and a relaxed environment. We WILL be returning here again to try the BBQ next and very muchlook forward to it. I definitely recommend this place and I even ask others, who's experience wasn't so good, to g Read more
