We got a bowl and burrito which were both fantastic, but even better was the single employee working today, on a Sunday, by... herself because a coworker just quit. Even behind a mask I could tell she had a big smile and enjoyed her day. I didn?t catchher name, but she should be commended for awesome customer service! We will be back! Read more
Last time I went to get food for me and my girlfriend it was 30 minutes before closing as I was getting back from a trip. I am... guessing it was the shift manager proceeded to make my two bowls. She had to take wrap off the top of all the toppings I wantedon my bowl. At the completion of the food the team member decided to come and say to me that they close at 9 and they wereprepping to close and I messed up their prep for closing. When they completed my food it was 8:35-8:40. One they could havesimply said they were closing and I would have walked out no problem. Two why on earth if you close at 9 are you covering thefood at 8:30. Three they could have locked the door but they chose to make my food. The comment was totally unnecessary and in away rude. If that is what they teach as passable customer service I won't be eating there anymore. I would understand if Iwalked in at 8:55 but not 30 minutes prior to close especially if you chose to make my food. Once you make that choice then youdon't get to complain about me messing up prep for closing which should not have been going on anyways. Read more
The food here is bland and horrible, I don't know how it has a 4.5. Once again, a restaurant in Durham making money off the fact... that townies and college students don't know any better, so they think this is "good" because it isn't Taco Bell I guess. Theyhave different stations of ingredients (beans, rice, veggies, etc) in dutch pots, somehow the burrito was cold. Rice wasundercooked. And again, completely bland. This is not how we make this kind of food, this is a scam. Go to La Vaquita, or anyother legit Latin restaurant in the Triangle. Don't give money to phonies. Okay, forget about Chipotle...I tried Zambrero on Saturday, and could hardly wait to order another chicken bowl. Please be sure... to love up on this staff... They are absolutely great people!
