WOW! Hadn?t been in a Waffle House in a minute BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Been going to ?fancier? breakfast places lately... but decided for a ?simple? one this morning. The bacon is not how I remembered. It was thick cut and full of flavor. Eggs cookedperfectly, hash browns done right and the grits were nice and creamy. Wait staff was attentive and nice! I will not waste my time coming back to Waffle House anymore. Tried to walk in at 4 AM to place a simple order for four eggs and... a hash brown, and was told I had to order it online. I could not find anything online that allowed me to order just plain eggs.This is nonsense. There?s absolutely no reason why someone can?t take an in person order at your store. This was one of the worst Waffle Houses I have ever been to. My daughter ordered a double waffle. I ordered an All Star Special.... We were greeted with "You know what you want?" With a restaurant named waffle house. How is it that My daughter and I receivedthe three waffles at three separate times. I received my toast separate from the meal. One of the waffles wasn't done all theway. Service seems to be optional here. Read more
