Tobacco road has superb food and drink. There's plenty of screens with just about any sport you can think of. The atmosphere and... vibe has great energy. I would definitely come back! Read more

Nice enough atmosphere, but they got the order wrong on me both times I was there In the same weekend. Among other things we... ordered, both times I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and emphasized no croutons. (No bread of any type for me)While I'm pretty sure both the wait staff got my order right, the kitchen brought out the order with croutons both times. Myribs were overcooked, overly charred. Also on my second visit, the chicken wings were slightly over cooked. Finally, the brusselsprouts were overly dry, perhaps overcooked as well. Read more

Me and a couple of friends dined here on an early Saturday evening after an event we were hosting. There was a rush of people... that came in after this so please keep this in mind if you decide to dine here during the weekend. This location is close towhere we held our event, and it is conveniently located in downtown Durham. There was street parking available, and there is aparking deck adjacent to the restaurant, if you prefer to park there. We chose this location because we were especially lookingfor somewhere that had outdoor seating and somewhere with decent food and drinks. While we didn't watch any sports games whilewe were there, there are large TVs scattered throughout the restaurant so it's the perfect spot to watch a game. The staff thatwere at the host stand greeted us when we came in and were very friendly. They laughed and joked with us as they led us to wherewe would be sitting. I ordered the crab cakes (remember to ask for these without the ham if you don't eat meat), which werepretty good. There was a piece of hair cooked into one of our crab cakes so we sent it back for them to remake. The staff werevery apologetic about it and agreed to remove the item from our check. I also ordered the shrimp tacos, which I wasn't crazyabout, but it was one of the few options I could choose from since I'm a pescatarian. We had two servers, one of which wasbeing trained. They were very kind and seemed to be enjoying having us as guests. The other server (trainer) was very rude andasked us several times only a few minutes apart if we wanted to order anything else, which we interpreted as them being readyfor us to leave. I gave this place four (4) stars because of the hair we found in our food and the unfriendly server we had. Read more

Use their waitlist option to save on wait time (via phone you can get waitlisted, see their site). Fun to watch practice and... grab a bite. The apps we had where pretzel bites and ribs. The ribs were very good and nice portions. Pretzel bites and beercheese was also good. If sitting outside beware of flying baseballs. I left off a star since our fries were soggy with ourburgers. Our wait staff was awesome too. Read more

Sat outside in the sun due to the wait but it wasn't that bad as long as you have sunglasses. Great outdoor view of the bulls... stadium/field. Would be great to eat here while a game was live. Food and beer were good and didn't seem over priced. Read more
