Got my drink and chips wrong but the sandwich alone made up for the blunder. Toasty , comforting and delicious. It was on the... most authentic cubano I?ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend this place for a brunch or lunch ! Read more

My husband and I are travel nurses from South florida so naturally coming to another state we were craving some Cuban food. We... decided to try this restaurant out. When I tell you that the flavors were so spot on. I kept taking bites and closing my eyes, imagining I was back home. We cant wait to come back. Thank you for putting so much love in your meals. Love this place. I felt so proud that this place is a true representation of some of the foods I grew up on. The food was so... delicious and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu has a great selection and the decor in theestablishment sets a great atmosphere. I cannot wait to bring my Mother here or to order food to bring back to my Mother as Ihad planned on giving her some of my leftovers and they never made to her because I ate it all up the next day. Sorry Mom. Read more

Authentic Puerto Rican food that took me back to my mami?s cooking! I miss her and I?ll be coming back here to try all the... other delicious-looking dishes. My empanadas (pastelillos) were the best I?ve ever had at a restaurant, i.e. they tastedhomemade. I had a flavorful beef and maduros one and another flavorful abuela?s chicken one. You getting the idea that PR foodhas lots of flavor?!! My husband had a Cuban sandwich which he said was the best he?s had since Orlando 10 years ago. It wasquick too - only waited 7-8 mins. Great amount of food and great ambiance. Loved the cute inside, awesome mural. and music! Read more

Nice atmosphere and music! "Q" was AMAZING! Friendly and happy to help make suggestions. The food is good but not as much flavor... as I'm accustomed to for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The mofongo was beautiful but not much flavor. Empanadas wereOUTSTANDING! Will return to try something different. Read more

This deserves 0 stars and I should get my $21 back for this pathetic meal! I just picked up this food and am totally disgusted... with what I'm seeing. As you can see 2 of the empanadas burnt! The lighter one is not even done! It's all doughy in the middle, you can see the uneven color on the outside. The Cuban sandwich is no better with the meat all dry but the bread is sopping wet.How you do that?! Maybe whoever cooked this food needs to watch the movie, Chef, and find out how to make a Cuban sandwich! Thetostones are super salty and you can see just how coated they are with that salty seasoning. Absolutely disgusting! As a Chefmyself, I can't get over the fact that they actually served this food. The first time I came the food was pretty good despitethat they got my order wrong. I overlooked the horrible customer service on the phone and really wanted the empanadas I enjoyedthe first time. But no, second time rude customer service again on the phone and at pickup. There won't be a third time! Read more

Clean, Spacious. Customer Friendly. Toast in 10 minutes. Cool art. Toast was delicious. But, Parking No bueno. The meters are... busted and everyone has tickets. There are six spots and two are handicap right across from the city of Durham City Hall. Ithink it is awesome that no smoking is allowed in the sidewalks near this place. Read more
