I had been craving catfish and I admit I?m picky about it! When I read their info and saw that the 1st location was in... Shreveport,Louisiana, we had to try it! I was NOT disappointed! Perfectly breaded with just enough Cajun spices to warm mymouth! Made this East TX born gal happy & a bit homesick at the same time. Slaw was very good & green beans were well seasoned &cooked long enough to take the ?canned? taste away. This was my first visit. I placed a future order. The cashier was very nice and accurately took my order. Next day, picked up my... order which was ready at specific time. Family and friends expressed total satisfaction of the taste and appearance of the fish.Potato salad and coleslaw were good too. Will use this restaurant again for big events. Read more
When I'm feeling lazy and also craving fried seafood, this is the best place less than 5 minutes from our house. I usually get... the two fish and six jumbo shrimp combo. Their portions are excellent, ordinarily I'd eat half and save the rest for breakfast.This photo is my next day leftovers, I got full quickly last night. Also... Their tartar sauce is amazing. Had a couple meals here. The food is good and the portions are well with the money. Only complaint is that it can be a bit... bland. Both the chicken and gizzards were fried well with a nice crispy skin and batter, and moist and juicy. But the flavor waslacking salt, spices, herbs, just nothing to make it stand out. Read more
