My first time coming here and it was great. The steamed bun was delicious. Belt noodles were spicier than expected but still... good, and the ramen was delicious. The restaurant is small so a reservation is a must. Try to baked goods as well, they?re alldelicious!! Read more

Rose's is a cute spot in downtown. It's a small shop jam packed with lots of food and flavor, unfortunately of the things I had... none of them appealed to me. I had a dumpling, can't remember which but I am pretty sure it had chicken in it. I also had thehouse belt noodle. The noodles were good but the flavor wasn't anything special to me. Again, not bad, just not my preference. Then we had ice cream sandwiches, the flavor I selected was the cookies and cream, it wasn't great either and didn't hold upwell after they cut it down. Overall it was an ok experience, probably worth a try if you're a fan of desserts and Asiancuisine. Read more

Recommended the location by a family member. Went for a lunch break to get away from the desk for a bit and was not... disappointed. Staff were beyond pleasant and very helpful. Had a nice "local coffee shop meets restaurant" feel and the servicematched it wonderfully. I ordered the steamed bun and Asian pear salad. The bun was wonderful, and the salad was excellent. Iexpected good food and that expectation was met. I will be recommending this to my friends as a great spot for a small groupmeal. Edit: For broke college students like me: you won't be disappointed for spending some money here. At the time of writingthis, the bun is 5$ on the menu and is well worth the price. Stop by for a snack after class and you will absolutely be heldover until dinner. If you happen to have a bit more pocket money I recommend their macarons. Absolutely a treat-yourselflocation that could be a post-exams regular stop. (Keep an eye on their opening hours so you aren't disappointed!) Read more

I'm so glad my boyfriend and I stopped by here. They have a rotating menu based on seasonal availability and I had the ramen and... creme brulee cake and they were both fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the baked goods case wasmouth-watering. We'll definitely be back! Read more

One of my favorite places in Durham! The service is always warm and the ice cream sandwiches are divine. I tried the shrimp and... mama noodle sandwich, which had great flavors but was one of the spiciest dishes I?ve had. I was warned by the waitress andthought I could handle it. Thankfully the ice cream helped me cool down. ?? Read more
