Being from Chicago and a Potbelly regular back in the windy city, this was a sad distant cry from a legit one back home. Not at... the same standards, not even close proximity. firstly, improve your service. Potbelly staff are high energy and extremelyfriendly. know how to craft them sandwiches right. train your staff well. they don't have to be people persons/pleasers just besandwich gurus (which none of them are). I wanted to get behind the counter and start training these guys to do it right! Read more

This was my first time at Potbelly's and probably my last. The other 2 employees I spoke with were nice, but the person making... our sandwiches was complaining about wanting to close right in front of us, put hot peppers on my sandwich when I asked forsomething else, took them off but didn't change gloves so both my sandwich and my friend's were spicy, and didn't put the basictoppings on my friend's sandwich that she paid for. To top it off, I found an inchworm in my sandwich. Again, this probablydoesn't happen often, but if the staff acts like they don't care then don't expect them to. Again, the other employees werefine, but it just takes one to ruin the experience. Read more

Potbelly has great sandwiches and the only reason why I am giving this 5 star review to this location is because of Tonya! She... is very personable, friendly, and helpful! Her customer service skills are impeccable! She?s the reason we come back to thislocation! Read more

I LOVE the subs here. The roasted hot peppers are delicious. Ingredients are always fresh. My favorite is the roast beef with... provolone. They also have pretty yummy sugar cookies....just saying. I also ask them to push my sub a bit further on the ovenbelt so it cooks perfectly to my liking! Try them, they are unlike any other sub spot around! Read more

Let me start off by saying we love the Potbelly?s chain. The first time we visited was in downtown Charlotte and it was... fantastic. This is a review of this location and not the company as a whole. The staff in Durham couldn?t be any worse. I haveordered here probably 10 times over the last 6 months or so and it is always something. Online orders they don?t read thespecial instructions yet all of their toppings aren?t on the menu. So no cucumber, no hot peppers on the side. We always orderthe wreck big and split that. Usually they don?t even restack the meat so they will only put ham on one side and turkey on theother end with the other meats across the whole thing. The service is incredibly slow and if you place an online order don?texpect it to be on time. Today?s was 5 min late and last time we were in there, we over heard them making an order 1 hr early. Ibelieve this location has a huge management and staffing issue with only a couple of employees that can actually get it right. Read more

Before getting into the review, this place was kinda hard to find, my gps took me to Jared, but it was just right down the... way. The good: the sandwich was delicious and filling! I didn?t even eat my chips that came with the meal. Gave plenty of meaton the sandwich. I love how perfectly toasted it was! The employees were friendly and engaged in conversations with us and othercustomer, which is also nice. The bad: the knife they used to close and cut the sandwich they didn?t clean or wipe off betweenuses. And then they put it right into the lettuce bin. So now there?s mustards and Mayo all over the knife and who knows whatelse. I got a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and it is SO THICK. I love broccoli cheddar soup normally but this was straight outof a bag. The soup also tasted burnt, which is a disappointment. The cleanliness behind the counter was a big turn off ofwanting to eat at all The other thing that took me by surprise is the price when I paid. We got 2 original sized sandwiches asmeals (chips and drink) a kids PB&J and the cup of soup and it was 35$. I was definitely shocked by the price. With all thatsaid, it was good, but I will not be coming back. Read more

They're stingy with their ingredients. The salad came with avocado but in addition to that I payed an extra $1.19 for extra... avocado and I only received 3 slices of avocado. This is the second time this has happened. I added a photo of what the $9 saladlooks like. Read more
