I really love this place. Their pizzas are beyond good. I ordered the araicini (Fried risotto balls with marinara) ,... Margherita, and their signature pizza the Pompieri. The flavor on each was really good, and would recommend them all. I amdefinitely coming back for more. I will have to try some new pizzas. Read more

Finally made it! Been on my list a while and it was a good place for the niece and I to go before the DPAC show. We ordered the... brussel sprouts, Malfatti Dumplings and Drunken Horse pizza. When the brussel sprouts came we thought we were getting Brusselsand Fennel Gratin, but got a salad instead. Menu isn't updated on the site. Everything was still delicious, but I would stilllive to sample the Brussels and Fennel Gratin. The atmosphere is good and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Didn't getto try the housemate Gelato so I'll have to go back. Read more

I love this place! The gluten-free, dairy-free (creamy cashew 'cheese)' pizza was wonderful, and looked like a work of... art! (Toppings: fresh basil, mushrooms, farm fresh egg, and chili oil) The salad and polenta with collards were fantastic, too:-) My husband really likes the Drunken Horse pizza Read more

We liked the ordering at the counter when you walk in. There are partitions to distance customers who are masked, when they come... in and order, from the tables where customers are eating and not masked. Within minutes we had our beers. There's a small butwell chosen menu of craft beers on draft, mostly from local brewery, and they rotate the taps regularly. We ordered a classicmargarita and a white pizza with portobello mushrooms and goat cheese to share. Both were delicious. The crust was thin andbubbly with just the right amount of char. I personally prefer the tomato sauce slightly sweeter, but that's just me, I couldn'tfault the margarita. I rarely order white pizza as it often is either dry or too rich or greasy with white sauce. This one maybe about the best I've had, with roasted garlic and caramelized onion, portobello mushrooms and topped with goat cheese. It wasjust the right balance and all the flavors came through. You could taste the roasted garlic without it being overpowering, thecaramelized had the the tight amount of sweetness to perfectly balance out the goat cheese. And it was a generous amount of goatcheese. I would absolutely come come back for that pizza and can't wait to try some other ones. They are served with scissors tocut. I was hesitant at first, but it works great and it's effortless. Other than the food, the setting is casual butcomfortable and inviting in an old building downtown. Last but not least, service was great. Friendly and efficient withoutbeing overbearing. The pizzas arrived in under ten minutes. Read more

Best pizza in Durham. Their gluten free crust isn't nearly as bad as most places (trust me, still a compliment) and they have... the best vegan pizza options we've had yet in the Durham area. They make their mozzarella in house, and I believe that extendsto their vegan mozzarella. While the vegan mozzarella doesn't necessarily melt, it's still pretty good. The ingredients alwaystaste fresh and flavorful, and the offer better toppings than most places we've seen around here, including flavored oils andfresh herbs and arugula. Their house made vegan sausage is really good as well! Sadly, it's their only vegan protein and isn'tgluten free, but it's something at least. If you're looking for vegan pizza, I recommend their vegan chasew cream sauce and anextra side of marinara. Their sauce could use a little extra garlic and the vegan mozzarella doesn't melt, so you'll needboth. And definitely get the vegan cheesecake! SOOOO good. One time it was a little off, but that every other time it's beenperfect. Read more
