WHOOOOOA! This was the most amazing poke bowl! So many textures and flavors going on! Whew! I was in heaven throughout every... bite! A party in my mouth! PokeWorks has always been my go to place since it opened. Recently, I ordered a large bowl and the young lady who prepared it... was very rude and unhelpful. She skimped on the sides/toppings including the sauce, literally a small blob for Large Poke bowl.I had to tell her that I?ve been coming for years and she wasn?t being fair. We understand inflation but its not an excuse tocharge people more for way less and poorer service. Read more
I had the fried shrimp teriyaki poke bowl. The staff was helpful and polite. The lettuce was too big in chunks. It could of been... chopped or shredded smaller. I felt like a rabbit or a goat chomping down on the lettuce. The fried shrimps tasted like popcornshrimp. I will go back to try a different type of poke bowl. Read more
First time customer. Told the worker that I couldn?t have anything spicy, specifically selected non-spicy versions of... ingredients, and yet the bowl was spicy and burned my mouth. Clean environment with pretty decent amount of toppings and options. Tuna was a good consistency (sometimes it?s not great at... poke spots so worth noting) and the ponzu sauce was delish. Knocked down one star because service wasn?t great. I asked for alittle bit of extra of one of the free toppings and the server only told me he would charge me extra for that after the fact anddidn?t confirm that that I still wanted it beforehand, which was annoying. They created a video of a poke burrito that went viral andDurham has NC's very first location! Yesterday we checked them out and where highly impressed! They have these amazing kalenoodles that leave you feeling so full yet they are super healthy. We also grabbed an Hawaiian Classic Poke Burrito which wasjam packed with Ahi Tuna! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Are you vegan, vegetarian, gluten free... they have options for youhere! Their "build your own" option gives you 100s of combinations you can put together. Lastly - these guys have a dining roomthat is open and they are on all of the major delivery apps! *Tip- For you raw seafood lovers check out the Hawaiian Ahi andSpicy Ahi.
