Reviews for Peabody Pizza Company in Durham, NC
We went here as part of a food tour and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza and great service. Can't wait to... go back. Read more
I?ve only been to this location to order pizza slices to go. This time I ordered pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. I wasn?t... crazy about the pineapple used but the pizza is good. The crust is yummy and fluffy and has a very unique taste. Ordering to godoes not take long. And I?ve never had issues with the service but again I just order my food to go. Just one thing to be awareof. Parking can be tricky unless you park in a lot. There are pay by the hour spaces and free spots on the street so just payattention to the signs. Lilly?s offers parking right in front as well but it?s limited and shared with the other spots aroundit. Read more
They serve delicious artisan pizzas conveninetly near Brightleaf square and downtown. The prices are a bit high and the service... is ordinary, but the pizza is great. I recommend you give them a try, but with some reservation. Read more
The Durham location now has a vegan (agave instead of honey) crust thanks to a couple phone calls! They were really respinsive... to my calls (and im sure other calls) and were very sincere in making sure rheir staff was made aware that the honey crustwasnt vegan. And the baked tofu is maple, not honey so also vegan! Best pizza around! One of our favorite casual places toeat! And the servers are the best!! Tip well folks! Four stars instead of 5 because the front parking is a nightmare... Evenbacking out very slowly, the bump tore our bumper off enough that it has to be replaced... If you can park in the parking lot(very limited) or street parking (also very limited) do so. I didn't have the choice if walking because I'm disabled and havetachycardia (very high heart rate). I'd love for lily's to work with the city to fix this. Read more
As someone who had to recently give up dairy as well as wheat, you'd think pizza -- culinary model for the perfect marriage of... gluten and cheese -- Lily's has some bombastic gluten free pizza and vegan options. I grabbed one of their GF 10" pies, toppedwith Daiya vegan cheese. Loaded up with several meats (which is a great head trip for waiters, lemme tell ya) as well as roastedgarlic and cherry tomatoes. Magnificent. Officially my go-to if I'm craving something gooey and salty and horrible for me. Justthe best :) Easy place to take kids for good food in Durham. The salads are huge and delicious, pizza is awesome. Read more
Fun place! Located right in the midst of the fun in downtown Durham--we visited on a Friday and found ourselves walking through... a live little concert. The food was SO GOOD--you get a LOT for your money! I legitimately gasped at the size of my dish and madethe server laugh. Speaking of which--if you get Shawn, you're gonna be well looked after! Great veg and vegan options when it is done correctly. I have ordered delivery, take out, and dined in. Usually when dining in... the order is always right, but when getting take out and delivery beware! I always prefer the vegan cheese that they have and Ifeel like they get confused when I order over the phone. One or two items always end up missing from my pizza. The food is stilldelicious and they always food the problem for me. My favorite orders: The Aristocrat (made VEGAN), the Vegan Stromboli, andthe spinach salad. Parking is horrible so be prepared.
