OMG, so good! Has a gourmet flavor with fast food prices and convenience. This place already has a great reputation so it... shouldn't have been a surprise. I had the General Tso Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Chicken and Broccoli. It was all very good.The rice is authentic and not yellow. Elementary, I know, but if rice is yellow then you know there wasn't much effort placedinto it the recipe and likely has those undesired ingredients. Read more
Another first! We had just left the Southpoint AMC theater seeing the new Black Panther movie and wanted to eat dinner out. Of... course it was Friday and a holiday do every single place we went to there was up to a two hour wait. My sister suggested OrientGarden where we could get takeout and eat at home and I said I hope it is good. She stated it had been several years but I wasnot disappointed. This is the most consistent and fresh Chinese American food in Durham! I always get orange tofu, and it?s always great. They... have many vegetarian options which I appreciate. The restaurant is clean, though they?re not currently offering dine in. Takeoutis fast. Definitely check it out! Read more

I really like Chinese food, and I regularly went to a very good place that is far from where I live, but it was worth the trip.... There is a mall very close to my house and every time I passed by this Orient Garden restaurant I ALWAYS saw that it had people.The place at this time only offers take out service. Today when I was starving and not willing to drive so much to go to theother place, I decided to give this one a try. Wow! what a surprise! To start with, the prices are almost the same but with thedifference that the quantity of food is greater. Chinese food is usually a bit greasy, but this turned out to be a lot lessgreasy. As it was not in my plans to go there, I did not order in advance and was afraid that the wait would be long. I love this place. This is our family go to chinese food restaurants. The general tso chicken is the best! They ate always fast... and fresh! They even make it extra spicey for us when we ask! So amazing! The staff is kind and helpful and always there to makeyou happy. We treat our family to this place at least once a month and we will always be back! Read more
I had the General Tso chicken and it was delicious food probably the best I've found in the area. Friendly staff at the window.... Only down fall you can't go inside so if it's cold or hot you'll have that to deal with. Other than that it's definitely worththe money. Read more
