I visited this restaurant for breakfast for the first time after seeing lots of friends posting about it online. I had been in... the area many times but never stopped. I tried the pancakes, waffles, eggs, turkey sausage and "cajun" grits. I must sayeverything was very good. The portion sizes will fill you up. I give 5 stars to the Cajun Grits! They we're delicious. The food was great but the service was better! Our server, Tish if I remember correctly, was super friendly and efficient. She... answered out questions quickly and made suggestions when asked. She was terrific! The shrimp & grits was phenomenal, as were thechicken and waffles. The salmon cakes were also delicious. The portion sizes were very generous. We took our leftovers home andhad them for breakfast the following day, and the food was great even then. I got unsweetened tea and it was easily the bestI've had in North Carolina. Nice hidden gem. We came down to Durham for a track meet and someone told us to try this place. I think the restaurant is near a... University due to the large amount of college students.
