Reviews for International Delights in Durham, NC
First time I went it was great, I loved it. The second time, I took my sister with me and EVERYTHING tasted old and funny. The... meat in the gyro, the bread, the lettuce, and even the fries. The best thing we got was the fountain drinks. Reallydisappointed. Read more
I ordered the kufta platter with Lebanese salad. The kufta meat was dry and not tasteful at all. The salad was old with zero... cucumbers and the lettuce was brown. This was a total waste of my time and money. If I could give 0 as a star rating I would. I even contacted the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager on duty but the person that answered my call was rude anddidn?t know if or when the manager will be in. Furthermore the restaurant smelled bad?like dirty dish water and their foodreflects that. I really don?t know how they remain in business. Read more
I stumbled across this treasure trove of good food by accident this afternoon. Polite service, clean inside, food is good and... not much of a wait. Only place around the triangle I've found that serves gyros cooked the right way. Simply the bestMediterranean food I've had in the Triangle in at least 20 years. Prices are amazing for this region - very generous portionsfor under $10. Read more
Super friendly staff. Several vegan options. In buisness for 30 years!
Absolutely amazing first time at International Delights. While it's a small restaurant, I love that they had excellent customer... service. The quality and amount of food for the price is excellent. I can say that I'll definitely be back regularly. Read more
My gyro wasn't good at all...pitabread was burnt and hard plus the 4 pieces of Lamb wasn't good ...very disappointed
No one will take your order, you wait in line at cash register, but that?s not obvious when you enter. Menus are in a cubby that... you take to look at, but there?s a sign saying don?t take menu and you don?t know what you?re supposed to do. You don?t havetime to look at the menu because the cashier impatiently stares at you expecting you to order right away like you?ve alreadymemorized the menu. They charge for water. On the business days/times for other restaurants, this one is empty. Food is createdas cheap as possible and they nickel and dime you for even extra cups of sauce. Avoid. Read more
Having been spoiled by consistently delicious Middle Eastern food in the DC area, this place was truly a disappointment. The... chicken shwarma was basically grilled dried-out chicken with no seasoning or spices. I regret disregarding the reviewsmentioning the same on here. Read more
