Excellent brunch spot with a great menu and reasonable prices. Food is ready quick despite how busy they can get on the... weekends. Plenty of parking and seating (indoor and outdoor). My wife is already wanting to come back tomorrow! Read more

I have not visited Foster's in Raleigh, NC for more then a decade . So when a travel nursing assignment in Durham , NC came up I... jumped at the chance. To find out there's a Foster's in Durham was a real bonus. They did not fail to deliver. I use to buyloads of bakery items when I visited to bring it back with me to WV then. My number one pick is still their Blueberry scones andcheese and spinach biscuits with the beef stew. I tried their breakfast Burrito . I opted fir it because it was meatless . Itwas very filling abdcradty breakfadt selection decided a takeaway since this was my first time . They are organic and veganftiendly. . Its situated next to the German bakery and restaurant Gulghupf . But Foster's was still as wholesome good AllAmerican country flair. Very attentive and friendly staff and you will be spoilt for choices. I made a stopover for a scone andcoffee but ended up with close to $40 worth if bakery items. Lots of oarking that extend right to the back and lots of seating. Thumbs up. ! Read more

I have been to Fosters just a couple of times because it's quite a trek from where I live. But when I do go, I always come away... feeling I should go more often! Such a great spot for breakfast and lunch! The salads and sandwiches are fresh and flavorful andthere are so many options to choose from! The whole place has a no fuss homey feel to it. Would go back without thinking twice!Great for vegans and vegetarians! Read more

Such a nice rustic place to chill out with friends. I especially like their coffee and the southern style breakfast

This is an interesting spot that probably has some good food but definitely has some logistical problems. The flow of traffic is... very unclear and chaotic with people shouting order names to the inside shop, multiple dining areas, and outdoor dining. It isunclear where you are supposed to order versus pay versus pick up your order. With the shop being busy and everyone millingaround in no direction it is easy to miss the ?specials? sign at the front, easy to miss the various different areas to buythings (salads vs. drinks vs. bakery vs. shop goods) and easy to get overwhelmed and decide to leave. We were able to order abagel and grab a bag of day old biscuits to try the place out. Based on first impressions we?re willing to give it another tryat a time when it is less busy because the food is probably good, but the experience is confusing enough to not make it top ofthe list to visit. It was my first time. I was visiting a friend and she recommended Foster?s for lunch. Had the grilled black forest ham, smoke... Gouda, Dijon vinaigrette, tart apple slice on sourdough toast. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! Read more

I?ve been to foster?s many times throughout the years, but today?s visit prompted my review. Quinn, the guy who took our order,... was so nice and charming! He was delightful, patient, and kind. Also, the breakfast burrito is INCREDIBLE. Simple and deliciouswith fresh ingredients. Others in my party spoke highly of the French silk pie, the peanut butter cookie, and the cheese/applesandwich. I will say that sometimes the place is packed with screaming children. BUT that?s just because the environment is sofamily-friendly, and I know that?s a good thing. Just a head?s up. Read more
