Was on my way to eat at Dame's and decided to try this place out. Little tough to review a food hall, but this one was clean,... had lots of good, reasonably priced options (very important), and the food from the seafood place (Locals Seafood) wasexecellent. One issue I had with the place was the inconsistant (vendor specific) and early closing times. 8pm closing onSaturday night in downtown durham was dissappointing to say the least. Check times before you go! Read more

What a cool and interesting place to eat and they have many different kinds of things from pizza and Gelato, to oysters and... seafood, to even cheesecake bites. The internet signal sucked here so maybe they have wifi to sign into. They even had a fewarcade games. There is also a bar. Definitely a cool vibe! Read more

Incredible options - everything we had was amazing. So many great vendors, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is so... cool and friendly , the open air makes it so nice. We sat and ate at the bar in the center and it was perfect. Read more

My son just moved to Durham, so I?m a regular now?lol! First off, this food hall is amazing! I was so impressed. Being from... South Florida, we?re kind of snobby about food and restaurants, but this place held up on the food side. The people werestand-offish and not as warm as I am accustomed to, but I guess that might just be the general area, not sure. The bartender washo-hum and not super interested in being there. And the taco place guy was unfriendly. Having said that, I can?t punish thatcool place because of two people. The gelato guy was awesome, etc. In other words, each little location has their own teamrunning their section. Some will be better than others, that?s all. I?ll still go back and seek out the happy people???? ***Response to food hall reply: I don?t remember the date but it was during the week at 6pm ish. The Mexican place was thefirst one on the left when you go down the stairs. It was a male attendant. The bar was the one in the middle and it was afemale bartender. Everything else was super great! Can?t wait to try the oysters next time. Read more

Pretty cool vibe. Our food was good- we got Nashville hot fish sandwiches and waffle fries. Just wish there were more vendor... options to choose from. Read more

Loved the place. It is so convenient that you can go to different counters, explore, and order your food, but you can also scan... a single QR code and order from your table from multiple places and pick them up when they are ready. Great variety offood/beverages, and convenience of technology, and wait times are reasonable although some counters are busier than others so docheck before placing the order. Conveniently located in Downtown Durham and close to parking decks. Read more

I went to Lula and Sadie's. The food was delicious ????. I have the seafood chowder w cornbread. It had corn, potatoes, shrimp... very fulfilling. Also ordered the Fat Tuesday Burger...OMG this burger has a creamy rumaloude sauce, bacon and a bun with icingon top. Yes I said...Icing. the combination is amazing. Trust me try it. You will love it. The owner and chef are amazinglynice, patient and happy to explain the menu. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time. The owner chatted with us offand on the whole time. We tried the sweet potato pie ????. Another hit. The top has a gooey melting your mouth while the crustis light and the filling has just the right amount of spices. We really enjoyed this place. We can't wait to return and try thebreakfast menu. We wanted to check out the Durham Food Mall for lunch for the 1st time. Parking was not easy. We had to park a couple of blocks... away and pay $1.50 to park. The Mall is very big and has a lot of tables. It is also loud. I ordered a nice New Anthem - OverBurning Ground at the Bar and it was over $9. Really! They have many types of restaurants like a Food Court but upscale. We bothgot sandwiches from Local Oyster Bar. I had a fried catfish sandwich for $12 and my wife got a Blue Crab Roll for $14. We bothenjoyed them very much. They have a really nice fresh seafood market! We ordered sides from Lulus. The potato salad wasincredible and my wife?s collards were delicious and without pork. We brought home a Napoli?s Pizza for dinner. It is wood firedand really delicious! Afterwards we crossed the street to the Glass Jug Beer Lab to buy some of their beers. I got 4 16oz cansof different IPAs. The bartendress said next time we can get our food to-go from the Food Hall and enjoy it there! Not a badidea! Read more
