This was my first time eating here and I was impressed. My bf and I were a bit hesitant because we saw the prices and didn't... wanna pay too much if we ended up not liking it. The gentleman that took our order was very polite, welcoming and courteous. Hemade sure our food was delicious and we had drinks the entire time we were there. The food was amazing I had the shrimp basketwith sweet potato fries and it was perfect for a quick bite and if your not too hungry. My bf had the general tso chicken hesaid it was good and he got a huge serving. The bill wasn't too bad a little over 20 dollars. Overall I enjoyed it and I'll bereturning. Read more
The seafood is always fresh and well-seasoned. Try the Shrimp (head off) Boil - You will not be disappointed!
This is my first time at this restaurant I came in asked questions and they were answered to my satisfaction. I had the shrimp... head off sausage boil. I had the crab sea special blend and it was awesome. I requested hot butter and salt my request whereimmediately attended to. They checked on me multiple times. Walking in was awkward I didn’t know if I should seat myself or not. It was so silent I didn’t even want to speak. No music... nothing. My food came out not even a minute later of ordering which had me thinking was this food already sitting just waitingto be ordered?? None of the seafood was cleaned (see pictures) also my shrimp were so hard to chew I sent it back. They tried totell me I was wrong. Also ordered half pound of crabs and this is what they gave me (see pictures). Definitely not worth the$40. The only reason I did not go to red crab is because I did not want to drive 20 minutes. Phenomenal! Their cajun seasoning is out of this world! Complementary! Combined with the seafood? Irresistible! ???? You can... have your food made spicy, medium or mild. I have options for lunch break, and this is my favorite spot of those available atthe RTP. I typically get a pound of shrimp which comes with corn and potatoes. Other times, I add scallops. For an appetizer?Calamari, which is perfectly cooked at the Crab Sea. Anyway, prices are fair, the location is always clean and although is tendsto be populated with customers, service is quick, and the staff members are friendly. If you’re around the RTP area and loveseafood as much as I do, you should try this place out! It’s SO good! Added 2/14/2022: I tried their cajun fries today, andoh wow! My family and I were loving this place but fast forward 4th trip in. They have definitely went up on their prices without... notice..1 standard 12 Oz beer $5.just why and for standard seafood boils just shrimp and mussels are potatoes n corn, .a familywith 3($30-40) average bag. Which would have been fine but it was not top notch (like their prices) I couldn't eat the corn itwas not fresh! I just feel if you want to over price make it worth the customers while! Oh and check-out receipts with nowarning there is a "surcharge" now....bill ended up being $146..for that.i should atleast be satisfied. I plan to never go back,it's just not worth it!???? Read more
I am not a huge seafood lover but I do like to have a boil once in a while., I would say this place is decent with taste and... flavor but the owners/workers are extremely stand-offish and is short with answers or concerns. I said before the taste andflavor is decent but the customer service is off so I’ll be taking my business to another seafood restaurant that makes theboils!! Read more
