Reviews for Clouds Brewing Brightleaf Square in Durham, NC
Get the giant pretzel! Clouds Brewing is spacious and inviting with plenty of room at the bar, throughout the indoor seating... space, and some nice spots outside on the square. Staff was kind and helpful. Was only able to grab a single beer but theMidnight Delight was dark and delicious! Read more

Stopped for any evening social hour and got to sit outside! Service was a little slow to get started (hostess wasn’t very... informative), but our server was great and the live band playing in the courtyard was fantastic. Great chill experience forpeople visiting Durham! Read more
Hadn't been in some time, but brunch was so good, we'll definitely be putting Clouds back into a regular rotation! The grits are... absolutely the best (pro tip: ask for some of their housemade hot sauce to add on top!). The poblano chicken grits were new tothe menu since I last visited, and they were so colorful and flavorful. After we each had an entree, we shared (demolished) thebananas foster French toast - delicious! Love that you can order a carafe of mimosas. Great outdoor dining space. All aroundwonderful brunch experience. Read more
The atmosphere was great! We tried a couple of different beers which we enjoyed while watching a basketball game. We snacked on... the cauliflower bites and fries which were both tasty and then we ordered mains. I had the Vegan Burger and was unimpressed, themain flavor was salt. The texture of the burger is more geared to someone who likes a meaty texture burger, but it still needsmore flavor (some garlic or something similar would help). All in all, would recommend for drinks/atmosphere but maybe getdinner elsewhere. Read more

Go here. Just do. You will not regret it. In fact, if you don't go here you will finish living with the knowledge that you... passed on an EXCELLENT experience and potentially the best upscale burger and beer of your life. Was passing through on a roadtrip with my boyfriend and stopped here for dinner - we each got a beer flight and shared the stuffed mushrooms and BBQ porkbelly burger. Not only were the stuffed mushrooms absolutely worth driving 7 hours roundtrip to come back again next weekend(let me tell you, we are TEMPTED), but the staff even so kindly brought the burger out already split and separately plated withgenerous portions of fries and dipping sauces for each of us. The burger completely blew our minds. I know I sound like a ravinglunatic at this point, but I have zero negative things to say about this charming spot with the food worth driving for. There isplenty of variety on the beer menu, and each one was totally unique and a flavor adventure for sure. We loved them, but got afull Mango Weiss and Edward Teach Teaches Peaches (so good!). The outdoor seating was well arranged and peaceful, as well aschild and pet friendly. The atmosphere was cheerful and the service was incredibly prompt without hovering. Elizabeth (I'mpretty sure!) helped us tonight and was amazing - we never had an empty water glass or waited for anything but did not feeloverwhelmed either. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be : please open a location closerto the coast! Read more
The food was okay. Service was good. We did have a issue with an order that was not corrected properly, but we didn't make a... huge issue about it. Read more
