Bean Traders is a delight. I'm not a coffee drinker but love their chai, hot cocoa, sipping chocolate (!!!), and milkshakes. My... friends and family report that their coffee is excellent. It feels very welcoming and the staff is helpful and kind. BeanTraders has a nice, relaxed vibe. It's nice to be at a place that has retirees, families, students, and just a lovely mix offolks. Lots of outdoor tables, which is especially helpful during this pandemic. Read more
Coffee is great, but service is extremely slow. We waited at least 30 minutes for 2 French pressed and 2 1lbs bags of coffee.... Even though the coffee is great, I would not recommend if you have anything else to do for that day! Will not repeat visit Read more
Love this coffee shop in south Durham! Great location, staff is friendly, their cold brew is incredible, their treats and food... are tasty, and a great place to study or work! I love their seasonal drinks and cold brews. Their bacon and herb quiche isdelicious! Their outside sitting is great! They also sell beans, which I buy occasionally! Always recommend it! Read more
I know this is a pretty popular coffee shop in the Durham area but I wasn't a fan of the seating. I went there to do some work... and it was pretty dark. I ordered an iced chai and while it tasted good it was mostly milk. The staff is very friendly though! Read more
I love to support local businesses when possible and Bean Traders makes that super easy to do since their coffee is so amazing!... I tend to order online (when they aren?t super busy) and I?m always greeted with a ?Hello? when I go in to pick up myorder. The pastries they offer are also really tasty. If you order something online and they don?t have it for you when you goto pick up your order, they will let you pick something else or or offer to give you a refund.
